Earl of Mount Edgecumbe at Liverpool Lime Street (1st June 2024)

GWR locomotive 5043 Earl of Mount Edgecumbe once again ventures to the north with the Mersey Express special.
Having finally been able to get up and about again after ill health, I caught up with her at her destination, Lime Street Station in Liverpool
Again in the spirit of full disclosure, there is some experimenting going on in this video. The most obvious is the new (and rather heavy) filming rig I was using, which (couple with my then poor health) is the root cause of the camera instability. But if you don't try...
Three things I have learnt from this video: Lime Street isn't one of the best places to go filming, steam trains do draw a crowd in Liverpool and rail photographers are getting younger!
