- K.C. was initially diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in 2015. After receiving chemotherapy and radiation, her healthcare team was not optimistic-her cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and progressed to stage 4. I just started immunotherapy a week ago after doing chemo and radiation. I hope I have the success she has. They tell me I have to take it for a year. Keep in mind I only had up to a year when I was told I had cancer. I think God has more for me to do before I leave this world but it still worries me when I get up and my body just feels like it can't go on. Good luck to all that is going through cancer treatments.

Sometimes people give thumbs down, because they might have lost a loved one cancer and it hurts so intensely, that you don't want to see the video come up on your suggestion list again and again. . People have their reasons and it's not right to judge. Of coarse I'm happy for those who survive cancer, but imagine loosing your child to it.... So please don't judge, you don't know the whole story.
Man, life is a roller coaster. I started immunotherapy yesterday. I am hoping for the best because other treatments failed. I did get RF Ablation on my biggest tumor (I have many). I would highly suggest it because it has a 98% success rate.
This video is 5 years old so I am hoping and praying that you are still in remission.

It's been over a month and a half since they found the cancer but I haven't had one bit of chemo yet. All I've been doing is struggling with effed up receptionists who even question the doctor on 'how things work.'. I'm getting really tired of it because everyone blames me. I feel like I'm all on my own.

I have no family and a few friends who are very supportive but can't do much because of their own family commitments.
But what I do have,is a very loving,caring, professional team around me including lots of support from MacMillan.
Nobody can convince me that those beautiful people aren't angels.
So,why are you alone when there's lots of help available?

People should have the option to pick which treatments they want. I don’t know why you have to do chemo and radiation first begore you get to do immunotherapy. Its just not fair.

I'm in battle of a stage 2 lung cancer as well. I just finished my chemo therapy sessions.. and I won't do it again.. Surgery is suggested but too risky and another chemo therapy session but won't do it. I want a less painful excruciating suffering than Chemo. Going through chemo is like dying inside.

I have stage 3b lung cancer had my right lung removed middle and lower lobe , did 12 rounds of chemo , and now in remission for a year and a half, it’s tuff but you will get through it . My prayers are with you . Be positive!

I just wonder why this kind of treatment is not standard so many years later. My brother died 3 weeks ago from lung cancer and no one ever gave him this option, just horrible chemotherapy 😭
