Steps to fix your device.
1. Unscrew back cover
2. Pry back cover off
3. Unscrew and disconnect battery ribbon
4. Hold power button for 5 seconds
5. Unscrew and disconnect trackpad Ribbon
6. Unscrew trackpad screws
7. Open MacBook and the track pad should fall right out
8. Remove brackets from old track pad and put them on the new one
9. Reassemble the unit
10. Get back to clicking!!! While your at it click the like and the subscribe button :)

Disconnecting the ribbon at 2" mark in the video is extremely fragile. While pulling the ribbon out it ripped out the circuit from the motherboard. Bricked my MacBook. Dimitry what should I replace to save my MacBook? And what's the rough cost?

ARM MacBooks like this one are known voor software blocks. Never did a touchpad replacement by myself in an M1, but you’re not showing us a working machine.
Do you have the tools to pair the touchpad and the mainboard?
