the png of martlet using a slingshot like a angry bird makes me think idk funny stuff
So, Clover's a pig now???
@@Arthus_Thenesus yep
@@Arthus_Thenesusa gunpowder addicted pig
@Arthus_Thenesus I mean.. they carry a gun and claim to care about justice or something among those lines.
Why did it take me so long to realize the image is an angry birds reference
WAIT IS IT?
@@Arandomcat363 it is.
I just realized I can hear "A bird that carries you over a disproportionately small gap" in Martlet leitmotif lol
Birt that builds the raft that lets you skip all of waterfall
Bird that builds the raft that causes you to nearly die
@@iacodino
@@exi_m7074 Bird that that builds the raft that gets you stranded in the desert
Can you timestamp it?
The funny thing in UG apartments is that it Is actually being played by the band. Which means martlet might have gotten in a fight in the HD resort
(Explanation) martlet says when a monster is focused on killing someone, their bodies make music. And since the band has played it, it means they probably heard it before and decided it was a good beat, which is extremely funny to me.
Martlet's leitmotif is canon, I wish I had an official leitmotif, although considering the amount of energy my subconcious tends to put into making music for my dreams, it may end up happening lol
SUBCONSCIOUS??? LIKE UNDERTALE YELLOW SOUND TRAK??!?!!!?!!!@@FBMtestingground
Its cool that A mother's love has both starlo and martlet's leitmotifs, also the fact that martlet and starlo are both knocked out besides you in the fight lol
Final stands sounds like a mix between Pokémon Emerald and Super Paper Mario
you might consider making the martlet on the left glow different colors for the different leitmotifs
Eh, I'm too lazy for that, if I wasn't, I probably would have just put a big 1 or 2 next to it. But I only do it when secondary leitmotiv are frequent
Protocol is in Trial by Fury
final stand sounds like it would work well in the pokemon gen 3 remakes. Never heard it before but that’s the impression i get
The fact that there isn't one in retribution
I may have missed it, but I didn't find it
@@FBMtestingground I haven't found one but it's weird to see that a martlet song doesn't have her own leitmotif in it.
Consider the fact that, unlike Undyne, who created her own determination, Martlet risked falling down with the serum, falling down being a process where you arguably *lose yourself.*
@@YourFavoriteStickmen in Undertale, the Undyne leitmotif doesn't appear in battle against a true hero. I interpreted it as Undyne being in a state of pure selflessness and pure focus on saving others, and I think it could be the case here too
This motif of her isnt on retribution, but another leitmotif of hers (present in "flock together") is in retribuition
final stand sounds like a fan made martlet fight
I actually thought the same thing
@@FBMtestinggroundisnt the name of that song retribution
@@roxas5071 the used boss theme is Retribution, but there is an unused music called final stand
@@FBMtestinggroundI think this lends stronger credence to the "Retribution is a Clover theme" theory. Or perhaps, more interestingly, what if Retribution is an Integrity theme? I find this less likely, though. Just as Chara is a megalomaniac, in the "Genocide" run, Clover is seeking Retribution.
Gold martlet is so smug
Martlet knowing she stole a secret weapon to become the strongest monster ever in the event of a real catastrophe:
I sit here two smug at you
Her special attack is being angry bird (literally)
I don't remember what her special attack looks like
@@FBMtestingground same
Imagine if you fight triple martlet like a game with birds want demolish green pigs
These videos are so helpful! Thank you sm for making them :)
You're welcome!
I haven't reached the end of genocide yet but just listening to final stand I know I'm going to get destroyed
Final Stand wasn't used in the game
@@FBMtestingground
Well that's sad
Still they wanted to capture the feeling I hope
Another song is used called retribution but i think you know that already, just incase you don’t
You know, I just realized something- one of Martlet's secondary themes, the one that plays in the second part of Birds of a Feather, only plays when she's relaxed, as opposed to her main one that plays in battles as well as ordinary settings. Just thought that was interesting.
Edit: Actually no, I was wrong. It does appear in both Protocol and Apprehension, I believe. It's just harder to recognize because it's only 4 notes, and her leitmotifs get put in a minor key when they're in her battle themes. Sorry about that.
I love Martlet, i think i wanna hug her more then i want to hug Ralsei... Somehow
I wanna hug Ceroba more than Martlet, am I weird?

@@FBMtestingground wut? it's a joke
Me too
Great!
4:37 This is also the motif to retribution
I read that there's a leitmotif from Flock together in retribution too.
I also feel like it's a good time to say I'll be remaking this video because there are actually three Martlet leitmotiv and I misunderstood and missed one.
birb.
Why Clover looks like Emmett from Lego movie?
Because I'm bad at drawing humans lol
@@FBMtestinggroundit still looks funny hahaha
Some people were confused by retribution not being here but consider this.
Megalovenia doesn't have sans' leitmotif, just like retribution doesn't have martlet's.
What if that theory about megalovenia being the player's theme applied to retribution to? It does have enemy retreating after all...
And just like with sans, we have an unused fight theme with Martlet's leitmotif. And just like with the name Megalovania suiting Chara far more than sans, Retribution suits Clover and their motivation for Genocide more than Martlet; in fact, I'd consider it a truer name for this game's Genocide run. Clover is here for Retribution. Of course, it still suits Martlet some, as she is getting Retribution for those Clover has killed.
I was literally just humming protocol wth
The picture💀
Perfect!

Is final stand supposed to be the replacement of retribution ???
Idk, feel free to explore the theories about it in this comment section
why does final stand have gba trumpets,

Was final stand perhaps supposed to be some point of no return
I don't know. It's possible.
The name of the songs "Birds of a feather" and "Flock together" is a reference to Gt Music's Angry Birds rap wtf?!?!
Wtf
Not really, it's just an old idiom
Birds of a feather flock together means similar people are around each other. though, that's certainly false.
isnt there one in dalv's theme?
I don't think so, can you elaborate?
About 57 seconds into dalv's theme there's a segment which sounds like protocol
What is final stand?
An unused music
Whts leitmotif? Similarities?
A leitmotif is a reoccuring melody across several musics
Alr thx
