Odd as it may be the soundtracks have devolved though imho. The BGM in the DKC games were half of the experience and are deeply intertwined with my childhood memories and feelings. Stickerbush Symphony and Aquatic Ambiance for example.

You talk about it like if it was the only difference between the versions and nothing else changed, like if the colors and sound were the only determinant factors to choose a version and everything else was the same, when in fact the GBA port adds so much more new things and content to the games. But if you dont really care about the games themselves and only play them for the colors and graphics, then go on and keep playing the inferior snes version for the rest of your life and lose on everything that the GBA versions adds that you wont be able to experience.
@@FastbenSupremoo new content does not automatically translate to a better presentation. Even the added cutscenes look wonky in the GBA version. You compare the two and on first glance people would think the GBA version looks worse off. If you are to show an evolution of Donkey Kong games, you don't show games that look worse.
@@FastbenSupremoo next you'll be telling that the 3DS version of Donkey Kong Country Returns which he showed here as opposed to the Wii version looks better. Plus he didn't even bother to put Donkey Kong Jungle Beat in that video, which is considered one of the best DK games ever.
