The original retro versions have a distinct appeal and charm, I just love the pixelated image and that 8bit sound 😀by the way colecovision is my favorite.

I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly the Donkey Kong we see in the first Donkey Kong game and Jr. Is actually Cranky Kong, the father of the Donkey Kong we know right now, and Donkey Kong Jr is actually the Donkey Kong we know right now and see in games like Donkey Kong Country and is the son of Cranky.

Where the camera zooms in on the cameo in Punch-Out!! is actually Donkey Kong (Senior). Junior is a bit further off to the side, sitting next to Mario.

As a kid, I once ran across a busy road to play the arcade version of Donkey Long Jr. I was almost run over in my childhood for this. 🙂

You should’ve included the level at the end of donkey Kong game boy where you do the final level of DK jr but instead of freeing donkey Kong from a cage you trap jr in a cage. That was pretty funny

Fun fact: Donkey Kong Jr. is the son of Cranky Kong (The Donkey Kong from the arcade games and Game Boy Donkey Kong game) and the father of the Donkey Kong from the Donkey Kong Country games
