Reloading 20 gauge waterfowl loads without a press

A quick video showing the simple process of assembling shotshells without the use of a press. Point being that you dont need the expense of a press to make your own shells. This is a 432gr (2 pellets shy of 1 oz) #3 steel 1500fps load that is my primary duck load.

I love this system. You don't need to de-prime OR re-prime your hulls. Wonderful!

Sure makes it easy if you can find pre-primed hulls for sale. This isn’t technically reloading without reusing a hull, but no big deal, de-priming and re-priming hulls is extremely easy with a few hand tools. If you are firing the shotshell in the same pump or break-action gun, no need to resize.

What powder and Grains along with ounce of shot are you using for that 20 gauge reloading?

I can see you not needing a press with new hulls . I think it is worth the cost of a Lee Load - all press to re-size the hulls and to crimp . I never cared for the roll crimp method . It is so much easier on the Load - all press and is only $55 .

Thank you I'm about to start reloading shotgun ammo I've done some rifle reloads in the past but not a lot. I will be reloading 12 gauge for a pump shotgun and was wondering if you can help me a little I'm needing any suggestions you would have as far as what type of powder,wads, I was thinking of buying are
steal BBs from Wal-Mart living in CALIFORNIA I can't use lead. I do have the lee powder despencer but no load data or nothing I'm pretty new and don't want to buy ANTHER press for shot gun lol. I also gave you a sub thanks for any help you can give me and god bless you my friend

Using new hulls is called "loading", not "reloading".
