Love the set up where did you get the rack for your 2.5 gallon mix and what rack is it I love that idea also you were talking about the headphones what ones are better
Cutting Edge Lawn & Landscaping thanks. I got those racks at a local bulk/wholesale store and my favorites are the yellow work tunes but plan on getting the Bluetooth work-tunes one next
Grnt 300zx I appreciate your service, my dad has been a police officer for 26 years and counting, and helps me on the side and wants to retire soon and work full time with me
NIce set up ! Love your trailer ! Is that chute blocker on your Scag one that Scag sells ? I just bought a Scag 36" Vride and am looking to put a chute blocker on it ! Thanks !
WH thanks yes it is and I've had to modify it and haven't been pleased with it , I would highly recommend grass flap for your vride, check out Fall River lawn care here on TH-cam and check out his video on the grass flap for the 36 vride. I would highly recommend that over this Ocdc
Vicky Sun thanks. I always have a backup mower Incase one of the main mowers break down and it’s a day or so to get parts or fix them I won’t fall behind and I’ll just use the other mower
Hey whats up Brandon, question for you in your honest opinion would you recommend the Hustler? I'm thinking about purchasing one but since I only cut part time wondering if its even worth the investment
Lowkuntrygrassslinger hey what's up honestly I've had many issues with my hustlers and not the best cut quality, I would highly recommend a scag or exmark for you to look into if you are starting you don't need the lazer z or a expensive mower like that if your just starting out but look into a radius or scag patriot they are both great machines
Nice set up man! Quick question I noticed you have the same size trailer as me and the same truck pulling it, have you run into any problem with the bed of the truck sagging when loaded with all the machines? If so what have you done to remedy the situation, would really be open to any suggestions. I put new shocks in the fall but haven't seen much improvement. Thanks!
Julio Carrillo thanks man it does sag just a bit but to help the issue I try to put the heavier machine ( the exmark) over the trailer axles and that helps a lot and balances the load close to even.
Brandons Lawncare Ok, cool I'll have to try maybe switching up my order then. I'm running a 36" WB, 52" Hydro, 48" Z Master rider and recently got a 61" Vride, gonna have to look up weights of each and order them accordingly. I had looked at possibly adding a helper spring system, saw one pretty cheap at Advanced might to that too.
Julio Carrillo put walk behinds to the front zmaster and vride over the axles just make sure they arnt to far back and it makes the trailer sag in then rear that's worse than the truck sagging
Matt Reynolds thanks , I would recommend getting 94 I absolutely love it and used it as my main trimmer all last season and plan on using it most of this season and haven't had any issues with it
How do you like the 24' length? I'm wanting a 20' or shorter but I have found a used 24' with a great price but I was thinking it might be to long to park between driveways? What would you suggest? Thanks. Awesome set up!
BigRandyR R I absolutely love my 24, yea it can be tight in spots but I can usually fit, definitely a lot of weight but I like to be hauling everything I need with me all the time. I can carry 2 ztrs stander and 2 push mowers and still have room for another stander or small ztr. Just depends on what kind of area you work like streets and how much room you have. I can fit at all of my properties it does get tight at times though
BigRandyR R no problem, it definitely is nice for storage and especially if you have no place to park your equipment and with this big of a trailer you never have to unload
Brandons Lawncare That's what I hate about an open trailer, unloading every night, hate to sound lazy but after a long day in the sun sometimes unloading just gets to me. Lol Plus it fills my garage up.
Christopher Davidson I would recommend your first mower to be a z. For the small residential properties a stander is awesome by when you get into the larger properties it's nice to sit but a 48-52 zero turn will work on small properties as well don't get me wrong as I've did it before. Standers just seem more quick on small yards but with a zero turn you can mow just about anything big or small you can mow large yards with a stander it just gets tiring for me after a while. So I would recommend a zero turn for your first mower
Christopher Davidson I honestly don't know much about ariens/gravely. But what I have experienced with is look into a hustler raptor it is a pretty decent mower for someone starting out

Upscale Lawn Care Monroe thank you I appreciate it and I just subbed to you
nice set up. between the FS 70 and FS 94R which do you prefer. Im torn between which one I want to try.
Matt Reynolds thanks , I would recommend getting 94 I absolutely love it and used it as my main trimmer all last season and plan on using it most of this season and haven't had any issues with it
Tthanks. I heard the 94 was giving some carb issues. I suppose any of them could do that but thanks I appreciate the feedback. Spring is coming soon!
Matt Reynolds I haven't had any issues with mine but I've heard that to , it sure is im ready to mow haha
How do you like the 24' length? I'm wanting a 20' or shorter but I have found a used 24' with a great price but I was thinking it might be to long to park between driveways? What would you suggest? Thanks. Awesome set up!

Brandons Lawncare That's what I hate about an open trailer, unloading every night, hate to sound lazy but after a long day in the sun sometimes unloading just gets to me. Lol Plus it fills my garage up.

Would you stay or with a z or a stander? I'm just starting out, and I'm leaning toward a z.

Brandons Lawncare thanks man, I really appreciate the advice.
Christopher Davidson no problem. Have any more questions just let me know
Brandons Lawncare what brand of z would you start with? My budget is 3000. I've been looking at the Ariens ikonx.
Christopher Davidson I honestly don't know much about ariens/gravely. But what I have experienced with is look into a hustler raptor it is a pretty decent mower for someone starting out
