Always love watching people who really know what they are doing. I will have a go at almost anything, but that takes nothing away from the people who know how to do it the same way they know how to breathe. Poetry in motion.
"Tim Timberman", I love that; Tim is a REAL superhero. Great work on both the tree dropping demonstration and the video production. Thank you Simeon and Tim!
Ronald , guys like you remind me of when the home owner makes the same claim, I would love to see you cut it down because its way more fun to watch when the house gets levelled. Cheers from New Zealand.
Yeah, okay. Show us your video Ronald. I've done a fair amount of bucket work tree removal, never climbed but have worked around climbers. Tim is about as professional as it gets.
That tree did look like from the video that he had a lot of room to put it in a good clearing, with a pull line for safety, but you never know what is on the ground or underneath ,i think the video was made for showing a climber at work.
There is just something about watching a man, who knows what he's doing, work at his craft. I don't know what it is, but it just warms my soul and it doesn't matter if he's digging a ditch, operating a piece of heavy equipment or, especially in this case, taking down a tree. Thanks guys for an excellent video!!
It's satisfying to watch a professional at work. I know Tim is shy around the camera so please send our appreciation for allowing us to watch him at work. Good Job ...
You aren't kidding. That is serious chainsaw work, well beyond me. Anybody attempting this without formal training wins the Darwin award! Nice job, and great video. Thanks for sharing.
As much as most climbers love to be in the tree, the moment your feet hit the ground is usually a welcome one, Lol😂. Especially if you were six hours straight in the tree, and it's 90°F...Lol...🍺
It is a treat to watch teamwork like this around tricky areas like the home. Tim did a splendid job and the safety person on the ground is paramount for these operations. As a 50 year old retired Navy guy I'm far too young to have lost so much of my hearing. That was my fault for not protecting myself better while working around machinery. Please always use a safety person and protective equipment. Again, terrific video and I always learn something from you guys. ✌️👍😎☀️
You'll never get me up there in a milloon years; I'm scared to death of heights. I really enjoy watching people who know what they do, it's like poetry and opera, all mixed together. Nice to see how you work together as a family.
it's often if it's in close proximity to buildings, fences, ponds, decking etc when there wouldn't be space to fell it in one but in this case it would have been to save damage to the lawns and it was safer as it was next to one building
What talent! Lynda Williams said it correctly, "Poetry in MOTION"!!! Great editing and assisting - You guys are a great team! I like how he checked how well the final hing cut looked (with a sweep of his gloved hand) and how he cleaned up and stacked all the limbs! Great Job! Could watch these type of videos for days.
Hello From France. Perfectionism at work! every single chainsaw action cutting has been thinked with pros and cons before action. Congratulations. Nice to see people who actually uses their brains in the best manner to avoid accidents.
I have watched a number of trees being roped down. The zip line trick with the sling is the best thing yet. Great video and I am scared to death of heights.
Sehr, sehr schönes Video. Gut geschnitten und aufwendig gemacht mit all den Kamerawinkeln. Und man versteht gut was wann warum gemacht wird. Und die Arbeit ist erstklassig!
That was very well done. I enjoy watching Tim work! He fells a tree like a Mater Arborist, not just a professional. Thank you for another very good, very informative video!
OK. There is a whole lot in this video. First, Tim's gooooood! I know some very good arborists and Tim is excellent. Well done and methodical. I was trained to climb and top trees to rig logging spars by an old guy that was in his 70's when he taught me. Our climbing was not to protect anything below, but to get up the trees as fast as we could and drop the top. That's when our job really started because we would then rig the entire tree for yarding logs out of the woods. I can tell you that I can still climb, but I would not plan on making a career change at this point in my life! Now, on to the most important aspect of your video. Your title really says it all, "Never Attempt This Unless..." I’ve worked on a cutting crew and was trained by some very good people. I also taught timber harvesting at Washington State University and I taught vocational forestry for five years in a high school program. Felling timber and doing aerial tree work is NOT for the untrained!! I have watched at least three You Tube channels where the people are felling timber and they do not know what they are doing. They are at risk themselves and putting anyone else at risk who is watching the video and thinks, “I could do that!” Don’t. Timber felling is one of the most dangerous occupations in the world and there are a lot of stories to be told of problems that have occurred. If you are not trained, find someone who is. Don’t put yourself and others at risk for injuries. I deeply appreciate the professionalism that you and Tim show here. You’re first class! Thanks for warning people to stay away from this venture without training. You’re to be commended! Make sure you tell Tim that I appreciate his skills. On my current log building project we had to take down two large Douglas-fir trees. One was 54” in diameter and the other was 40”. I’ll burn the photos and videos to a DVD and send them to you. I think the two of you will appreciate them. Again, very good job! You’re doing a premier class You Tube channel and you really prove it with today’s offering! Mycket bra job!
This is one of the most interesting video I have ever seen. Tim is magic in his climbing & arborist skills and more. I had a feeling like be up on the tree, be part of the proces. GREAT JOB, AMAZING, LOVE IT.
Hey Hüm! Could you please put a demonstration of this in a video? Not necessarily it's own video, but maybe just a minute in one? I would appreciamicate it.😉
Awesome job on the felling and the video. Just watching from the arborists angle had my stomach turning flips. No way could I do that. Hats off to you guys.
I always enjoy to watch Tim's way of doing things. So professional with not too many extra words. Your videos are good although a bit on the longish side. Thank you and enjoy the mid summer. Hälsningar!
Wow. what a professional job! You guys sure know what you are doing. My heart was thumping way up there with Tim. I was afraid for him but I should have known he knew exactly what he was doing. Great video.
That was absolutely fantastic to watch. I am a professional tradesman and to watch another tradesman work was a joy. Thank you for the great video. You've actually taught me a few things that have helped me when trimming trees at my home.
Awesome video, your brother really knows his stuff, it was great watching him take down that large tree. I'm sure the home owner are very happy that they don't have to worry about the tree coming down on their beautiful house.
Great job. You really know what you are doing. I am almost 70 now so I don't I would do that. I have cut some trees for firewood but nothing next to a house and leaning at that. It nice to watch someone do such a good job.Your an expert I would say.
Nice Work! On the tree and the video. I've been cleaning up my property this year after years of letting it go due to health, and I'm doing it with efficiency and safety that I never enjoyed before. This is largely due to what I've learned from you guys. While quite an amateur, I know my limitations, and err on the side of caution. I've updated my equipment to include a 2nd lighter saw for most small work (both are Huskys), a full compliment of wedges, good loppers, and a Fiskars hatchet that is just amazing. New safety gear includes chaps and steel toe boots which I never could justify before for occasional use - you convinced me that's just foolish.. Thanks! A few dedicated ropes will be coming soon just for limb handling - I don't plan on climbing, if it's needed, I'm calling a pro like Tim. A video on rope selection and proper use and care would be a good subject for a future video. Thanks for explaining tree work in a easy to understand manner. Scott
I too love watching good men work...Great videos. Last one I stumbled on you were ice fishing with the family; now it's nearly 40 degrees here in Normandy, Fra....cheers...rr
I have 17 years experience as an arborist all over the northeast United States. That was a fantastic job to both of you. Nice teamwork and Tim especially nice sawing. Be well fellas
I'm an ignorant amateur arborist, so I spend a lot of time watching arborism videos. What I appreciate about your videos is not so much for the formal instruction, but the instruction that comes with watching an experienced professional do his job well.
Bra video som vanligt :) Tim kan verkligen det där :) Ni är bra på att prata svenska, även om du är från Tyskland :) Alla lyckönskningar till dig och din familj :) Med vänliga hälsningar Thomas från Norge :)
Always love watching people who really know what they are doing. I will have a go at almost anything, but that takes nothing away from the people who know how to do it the same way they know how to breathe. Poetry in motion.
Amazing to watch specialists at work.
Great job guys and very well done video. From USA Missouri
"Tim Timberman", I love that; Tim is a REAL superhero. Great work on both the tree dropping demonstration and the video production. Thank you Simeon and Tim!
GraiaBelle I'm way faster than than that take to long easy tree make bigger cuts

If you were planing on felling that tree length, it would behoove you to go up higher than 20' (feet) ...
There is nothing quite like team work. Well done. kind regards.
Nice little flourish when Tim brushes the saw dust off the stump, the man’s a legend. Thanks guys, Respect from Ireland.
Thanks!
you dont get out much do you?
Tim is skilled to such a high level that his tree work looks like art!
Tim is my hero! I love your videos guys! New subscriber from Maine, USA!
Aziskohos go Maine woohoo
Awesome. Thanks for joining the channel.
My little sister lives East of Sebago Lake...Go Maine!!!🦀🐳(There's no Moose, or Lobster emojis!!!!!!😭)
Nicely done! Thank you for posting.
Tim knows what he is doing for sure. Great video.
the cut @ around 6:55 was beautifully done!
Tim is a beast in the tree. Well done!
I had a chance to witness this type of work at my new house in South Carolina it was amazing and I have it all on video.
Brilliant video! Thank you. I have to admit, I breathed a sigh of relief when Tim finally made it back to the ground.
Haha, I know. I have gotten used to see him like that now.
As much as most climbers love to be in the tree, the moment your feet hit the ground is usually a welcome one, Lol😂. Especially if you were six hours straight in the tree, and it's 90°F...Lol...🍺

Those slings are the best! I was wondering how those branches would come down with out hitting the house! Very cool to watch!!
Wow! The arborist's view was so rewarding! It is like tree ballet. Tim is very graceful with ecomony of movement. Thank you!
Tim is the man, no way would I be up there like my feet planted firmly on the ground lol
Man, Tim is good, dropping those limbs so close to that building. This brings back memories of logging cord wood with my family. Great stuff.
I hope you can answer a question for me. Why do they cut all of the limbs out of the tree instead of just cutting the tree?
it's often if it's in close proximity to buildings, fences, ponds, decking etc when there wouldn't be space to fell it in one but in this case it would have been to save damage to the lawns and it was safer as it was next to one building
Tim is a real TreeMaster, great job, thnx for sharing
Nice work, it looks like it went very smoothly with no problems :)
Extremly professional, good work Tim :)
That was truly great i never saw anything like that very interesting thanks and see you tomorrow.
Awesome skills and balls of steel. Really glad I'm a sub to your channel.
He made that look so easy. Great job. Take care and God bless.
Excellent video! Great professional work.
Very good work. Tim is so smooth and efficient. Quick but not in a hurry.
Hello From France. Perfectionism at work!
every single chainsaw action cutting has been thinked with pros and cons before action.
Congratulations. Nice to see people who actually uses their brains in the best manner to avoid accidents.
Nice job man love the camera angles
serious admiration for you both, film making is excellent! new subscriber- woodstove maker from New Zealand
Great job, very professional, and it reminded me of my rock climbing days :)
Even the felling of a birch tree near a beautiful stuga is great to watch. Tim is a brave and courageous young man. Can anyone say, "Timber"!
I have watched a number of trees being roped down. The zip line trick with the sling is the best thing yet. Great video and I am scared to death of heights.
Thunder Ridge Homestead i am too since i was a kid but trees i could just climb all day
LOL I can get on a horse that stands 6 foot at the shoulder, no problem, but not higher than the second rung on a ladder.
I'm not afraid of hights, how ever i'm afraid of falling fast and suddenly stopping :D
Good to be petrified of heights when you climb that way you don't behave recklessly
Sehr, sehr schönes Video. Gut geschnitten und aufwendig gemacht mit all den Kamerawinkeln. Und man versteht gut was wann warum gemacht wird. Und die Arbeit ist erstklassig!
My palms were sweating just watching this. Amazing!
That was very well done. I enjoy watching Tim work! He fells a tree like a Mater Arborist, not just a professional. Thank you for another very good, very informative video!
Thanks.
Way to go Tim. excellent job..
One of the best edits for tree work I've seen in a while and great work fellas. Drop and go!
Good work guys. I hope your neighbors appreciate how much skill and experience they are getting when you do this work.
OK. There is a whole lot in this video. First, Tim's gooooood! I know some very good arborists and Tim is excellent.

Mark Fritch Very well said, I would expect nothing less from a WSU Cougar.
Thanks Mark. I am sure Tim has scanned through the comments. We appreciate that.
I spent 8.5 years there and it was all worth it. We have three generations of cougars in the family and I'm sure there will be a fourth as well.
Nice work! Like the way you put out branches before taking the big trunk down.
This is one of the most interesting video I have ever seen. Tim is magic in his climbing & arborist skills and more. I had a feeling like be up on the tree, be part of the proces. GREAT JOB, AMAZING, LOVE IT.
Thanks.
Nice setup, love the reecoil lanyard, it's amazing.
Attached on the saw's handle, interestingly enough...
Samuel Luria have mine setup that way as well, it's nice having it high on the hip, not swinging around.
Hey Hüm! Could you please put a demonstration of this in a video? Not necessarily it's own video, but maybe just a minute in one? I would appreciamicate it.😉
(btw, I saw a comment by you about the Navy, a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't get a chance to read it, and then I lost it... duh!😌)
Awesome job on the felling and the video. Just watching from the arborists angle had my stomach turning flips. No way could I do that. Hats off to you guys.
Excellent video!! Your brother is a true professional at tree work. It's like watching a dr. At work! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!
Good job guy's, it was scary watching you from up there. Ontario, Canada.
I always enjoy to watch Tim's way of doing things. So professional with not too many extra words. Your videos are good although a bit on the longish side. Thank you and enjoy the mid summer. Hälsningar!
Yes, Tim most definitely takes the prize for this one. I was terrified just watching him up there. Definitely not a job for the amateur.
Wow. what a professional job! You guys sure know what you are doing. My heart was thumping way up there with Tim. I was afraid for him but I should have known he knew exactly what he was doing. Great video.
I have to admit, I was getting frightened just watching this! Wow! A lot of skill went into that job!
Great Job Guys.
that was a great video. keep up the good work. hello from the states.
That was absolutely fantastic to watch. I am a professional tradesman and to watch another tradesman work was a joy. Thank you for the great video. You've actually taught me a few things that have helped me when trimming trees at my home.

Wow! It’s great watching you and your brother work.
Wow, very nice work. Very impressive!!
Awesome video, your brother really knows his stuff, it was great watching him take down that large tree. I'm sure the home owner are very happy that they don't have to worry about the tree coming down on their beautiful house.
Great work.. and very professional...many thanks for sharing...
Excellent demonstration of the right skills!
Tim KNOWS his business!
Great job. You really know what you are doing. I am almost 70 now so I don't I would do that. I have cut some trees for firewood but nothing next to a house and leaning at that.
It nice to watch someone do such a good job.Your an expert I would say.

I don't know how to give a video two thumbs up. so you get get a like and a comment. I enjoyed watching someone with such skill do a job like that.
I'd like more of these videos.

amazing -the go pro on the helmet gave a really good perspective - great video
Yep i i would never attempt that anymore. I leave it to the young bucks. Your brother know what he is doing loved watching
Nice to see real professionals doing a good job!
Nicely done Tim. I liked the way you dropped it on the stickers. Two thumbs up
Very cool video, thank you for sharing. I would not have the guts to do this myself though, I'm too much of a fan of being on the ground lol.
great to see an artist at work
Some skills brothers, awesome video.
that was a great video guys, thank you.
How is do you attach your saw the the harness? Looks so convenient, mine dangles too far down even on the metal loop.
Cheers Dan.
I have 17 years experience as an arborist all over the northeast United States. That was a fantastic job to both of you. Nice teamwork and Tim especially nice sawing. Be well fellas
Thanks. Great to hear.

I've been doing this for 36 plus years now.
Great work Timmy boy.
wow thanks alot. great video ☺👍
Well done, Tim makes it look easy, but I'm sure it is not easy!
Great video Simeon thanks for taking us along!
Wow!!! You guys are Rock Stars!!!
Come on people 106 views and only 8 thumbs up ? What was wrong with this upload that did not deserve a thumbs up ?
Great to see you working with your brother, i just hope you checked the bird box for young fledglings before you removed it.
You are missing from your list the chain saws used and the gear, like the climb harness, and boot grapers. Could you please add that to the list?
awesome job, guys!
Bra video som vanligt :) Tim kan verkligen det där :) Ni är bra på att prata svenska, även om du är från Tyskland :)
Alla lyckönskningar till dig och din familj :)
Med vänliga hälsningar Thomas från Norge :)
Your brother is very skilled. This was enjoyable to watch.
