Lord, I Need Your Help Today
Almighty God, we come before You today, humbled by Your majesty and filled with faith in Your power. You are the Creator of all things, our refuge, and our ever-present help. Today, Lord, we urgently need Your help. We lift our eyes to You, as declared in Psalm (121 verses 1 to 2), “My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” We lay every burden and uncertainty at Your feet, trusting in Your limitless power.
Holy Spirit, our Comforter, guide us today. Teach us how to walk in Your wisdom and shield us from harm. As John (14 verse 26) says, “The Comforter…shall teach you all things.” We lean on You for direction and clarity. Strengthen us, Lord, as You promised in Isaiah (41 verse 10), “I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Let Your hand steady us in every trial and decision.
Father, we trust in Your provision, as You taught us in Matthew (6 verse 11), “Give us this day our daily bread.” Whether we need physical, emotional, or spiritual renewal, we look to You as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Your Word in Psalm (34 verse 17) assures us, “The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” We cry out for Your deliverance from every fear, oppression, and heaviness.
Jesus, You declared in John (16 verse 33), “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Through Your victory, we are more than conquerors. Strengthen us to walk in that victory today. Fill us with divine wisdom, as James (1 verse 5) promises, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God… and it shall be given him.” Illuminate our path and guide every decision.
Protect our families and loved ones. Psalm (91 verse 11) says, “He shall give his angels charge over thee.” Guard us against harm and the schemes of the enemy. Help us trust Your perfect timing, as Ecclesiastes (3 verse 11) reminds us, “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time.” Teach us patience and trust in Your plan.
Lord, we surrender every worry and fear to You. Philippians (4 verse 13) declares, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Strengthen us to face this day with courage and joy. We thank You in advance for the victories and breakthroughs You will bring. Let our hearts remain grateful, declaring as Psalm (118 verse 24) says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Thank You, Lord, for being our help today. We trust in Your unfailing love and power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
