I have the same problem. I prayed about it also and slowly, I am changing because God does answer prayers sometimes there’s righteous anger, but I seem to hold grudges. Also, God is slowly bringing me out of this because I’m seeing myself in the eyes of other people and I don’t like what I see. May God continue to bless you, and he will answer your prayers. I believe this because I believe in Jesus God incarnate.

Joan, I'm going through some of the same trials.My husband has terminal prostrate cancer.My 4 adult kids are not walking with the Lord. I feel uncertain of the direction, fear at times ,especially early morning hours. My only anchor in these storms is the Lord.He has told me to live one day at a time.Dont look back nor worry about tomorrow. I will never leave you ,stay in the present that is where my Prescence abides .I have to remind myself often.I pray The Lord will strengthen you and fill you with us Spirit. What a teenager! If we all did this our world would be a better place. I will definitely do this if the situation ever presents itself to me. I'm on social security also but I was blessed to work long enough at my state job to retire with a check from that too & I barely get by myself so I don't know how others my age can live on social security alone so I'm blessed & love to bless others. This is my favorite online pastor as well as Robert Morris. We need to be sure those preachers we listen to online are God given pastors who preach the word of God straight out of the bible.

During my youth every day before breakfast and before school my Mother got out her Bible , I on my knees with hands folded and together we prayed Psalm 121 .
I listened to this sermon last night and woke up at 5:30 this morning and listened again. I am 74 years old and just retired from our school district in Columbus, Georgia January 31 of this year and right after I retired this virus happened. I had Psalms 121 on a card tacked on my board at work and read it each day not knowing how often I would be reading it during the days to come. I have it taped on my kitchen cabinet as an everyday reminder to me that my help comes from the LORD!! Thank you for this sermon!

I take issue with the comment "they won't come back alive from blue states." My job here is to work daily to become more Christlike & show others the love of God. I pray for the Lord's Healing touch in your battle. I pray for the Lord's strength , stamina and endurance Jesus is with you , he made you to win this battle don't give up. Remember your loved ones and your friends and strangers praying for you.
We need our missionaries to be sent out in every city in America, to spread the word of God and get us back to " one nation under God" Amem

I take issue with the comment "they won't come back alive from blue states."
My job here is to work daily to become more Christlike & show others the love of God.
It is not my job to say someone can't or won't be a blessing & plant a seed or lead someone to Christ because they are in a red state. Leave politics out of your personal relationship with the Lord.
One of my Pastors once told me that the meaning of that word is Poli (many) tics (blood sucking varmits)!

I agree and needed to hear this sermon. My only complaint is as a follower of CHRIST I do look from within being led by the Holy Spirit. Not leaning towards my own understanding but trusting and believing in him out helper!!!
You missed his point then. He was saying we trust in God (look to God), not ourselves.
He’s so good too! I only wished that on the Journey that we were told everything. But there was more to that journey. It was the trappings of the soul. The essence of the internal gifts that were given.

My sister had aggressive cancer at 32 and beat it. It was brutal but I hope yours is as quick as possible! God does love you! This is hard. He will help you!
