Some of the symptoms are, the idle will drop momentarily intermittently in traffic like it is going to stall. The other is more pronounced with AC on in traffic the engine will drop RPM then come back every so often while stopped in traffic. Almost like an engine stumble.

I've had numerous american cars and pretty much ALL of them beyond 5 years old have some sort of Emissions Canister or Valve issue like this. Such BS>..
Hi WeBe - I used NewYall model 9U5Z9C9l5H. But for some reason Amazon now says it doesn't fit my 2016 Mustang? Not sure if their website is malfunctioning, but the check engine light has not returned since I replaced it.
You are just trying to lube the O ring so it seats properly. Spit would probably work too. If the O ring was cold and dry you could roll it out of position or tear it on install.
@@4RibsFishing Okay. But i installed my new purge valve on my 16 GT and now there’s a constant loud ticking coming from the engine bay. And my idle is acting weird. It’s way quieter.. I don’t know what i did wrong because i followed every step. The CEL isn’t even on anymore..
@@ColtonMontgomery I don’t believe a torn o ring would cause ticking. If it’s a tick it could just be the fuel injectors. Those are noisy, especially when cold. Or you have another unrelated issue.

@@Markustempest I would hope the part would last longer than that. For 20$ and 15 minutes it may be worth ordering another one. If you still have the error after that you should start looking elsewhere.

Is that the same thing when the computer is reading bad vvt vct solnoids my car also cuts off in traffic act like it don't Wana accelerate

Well I just got the p1450 code and I need to do it and I need to now did the no grease work

You have to clear codes
Yes, after replacing the part I cleared the code.
I got this code on my 5.0 but I’m supercharged with a roush blower. I can’t find any tips online. Any idea of where it could be?
You should still have the same valve, it just may be buried under the front of the SC.

Oil works too. Just a little on the o ring.

What if the code doesn’t go away after you get the part & install ? I’m still getting that code unfortunately
I’m pretty sure the code doesn’t just disappear. I had to clear it with a code reading tool.
