how do I rank all items except two on my list. I have survey data. Each person has multiple rows in my data; one per item answered per person. In my pivot table I have [Items] in rows and want to return blank on two values and rank all remaining items. I have an example btw but I posted a detailed example with my dax attempt and links to more info on another video and my comment disappeared.

Great theory but in most cases ppl work with many dimension tables - it works only in particular scenario when columns come from one table. If one place columns from different dimensions there is some kind of crossing happening and many rank positions are visible which should not be visible. I don't understand why all tutorial present perfect scenarios which does not exist in real life. Ranx is is the most unfriendly function in DAX:( I also don't see any good explanation why the solution here works. The RANKX lookup table is always calculated against ALL counties, it doesn't matter that there is calculate with ALLSELECTED?
