Yes, Blaze is a little speed demon, much more suited to open jumping or gaming than pleasure or hunter classes. Lily is developing really nice equitation.
i used to ride with a full cheek snaffle to, i foudn i had better control when i got the little bit keeper loops that keep the cheek pieces closer to the headstall sides. It lets the bit stay in the proper postition

I jumped at Biltmore oh my that was long ago glad there still going strong and a beautiful place to ride
Hunters are judges on the mount, that's why Lily still placed with paint pony at the horse show even tho she lost her stirrup and etc. in that class they were judging the pony.
She needs to slow that pony down.jumping isn't the way to do it.good show jumpers are still controlled.blaze is not.horrible teaching.he looks like he is crazy going around like that.😢
