To be honest, I don't want to hear much of anything.
I'm tired of hearing so many men speeding on the street behind our home in their "souped-up" cars and ATVs. Oh, the noise! It's like everything is a RACE to them! They are a total pain in the neck!
Small dogs going on continually with yappy barks also rattle my nerves, but larger dogs with deeper voices don't really bother me.
I just don't like constant or suddenly shrill noises. I prefer quietness. I am a peaceful person. I like to hear my own thoughts and read or pray. I don't even turn our TV up loud. I rarely listen to music in our home, mostly in my car.

Oh my goodness! Please show more of the new animals, I bet they would love the pond off of your patio. The geese and the mallard duck. The turkeys were so good with you, they calmed down as soon as you gave them scratches and love. They're all going to thrive on your rescue ranch. We're looking forward to seeing their new digs. Lee is someone all animal lovers can relate to on a different level. This video makes me smile & giggle to see him hugging & cuddling turkeys & kissing the heads of wild animals. My heart can relate to this because I’d do the same thing if I could rescue them. What a kind animal lover he truly is.

Wow,I see sun shining,I'm in a blizzard!!! I was visited by a Canada goose w/ a broken wing this morning.An amazing Animal Rescue drove in blizzard 45 min.to come & rescue him!!!! He/ the goose knocked on my motel glass door w/ his beak!!! THANK YOU Lee & your AWEsome team!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That one handed catch of the quail was very impressive. The Geese and Turkeys must know they are safe, thry are not usually cuddly creatures, lol. Thank you Lee Asher for rescuing these babies. I saw some wild quail when I was on hols in Arizona, the sounds they make at evening when they are ready to roost are just lovely to listen to. I would love to have some if I had the space to give them a good life.

When I was 12, my sister 11, we worked on a horse farm, and stayed with the owners for a summer. They were Audubon people, who rescued Wooly monkeys, squirrel monkeys and had all types of birds. We ate duck, goose, chicken, and guinea hen eggs all summer. The horses were rescued from a person, who failed to feed them. They were eating the tops of the wooden fences. So I get it when rescuing needs to happen. This first job changed my life. I love what you and your dear family and staff are doing. ❤

As a young man just out of college in 1975, I worked at my small city's zoo and we had peacocks and they could scream very, very loud. The males were very impressive though when displaying their tail feathers.

This is why I will never live inside city limits again. Zoning for farm animals is a must for us! I love it when you go outside your comfort zone for the babies.

Lee said that it's "TEMPORARY" ! Clearly he and his team need time to decompress, and so do the animals!!!!! There is probably some sort of accounting process that will happen to determine what each animal and bird need and if the Asher - House/Sanctuary is the best placement for them! Peacocks are beautiful. Tou can leave them after acclimatization to set free. They'll stay around. Many of them in big public gardens live happily in Europe. Turkeys, are prone to diseases. Sensitive birds . All the best

You never cease to amaze me with your compassion for all animals. Is there a follow-up video to this so we can see them all in their new habitats? Also did the turkeys get a bath to clean their belly’s off? How sad for them to have lived like they were. I congratulate the nice man for giving them all up to you. He seemed to have genuine concern for them all. Too bad he wasn’t equipped to properly take care of their needs.

Years ago my brother owned a restaurant in the desert..and it came with a petting zoo...he loved those peacocks back then
This was a really good video and an important one for people to watch. There are many reasons why The Asher House is such a wonderful organization. Of course it all started out with Lee and his vision and mission and that continues to be the biggest reason, but there are other important reasons. Such as: Lee loves all animals with all his heart. Lee and his awesome team give all the animals love, proper care such as grooming, medical care, good food, etc. But another super important thing is that they are a real Sanctuary that gives each animal what it needs to thrive beyond love and good food. The dogs go for walks and get to run in fields and smell interesting things and play with other dogs and have toys (Tommy 😊), and have nice beds to sleep on. The cats get to laze in comfy spots and sit in the sun looking out the window and run up the cat jungle gym along the stairs and have safe outside time (catio). The horses have stables and outside areas and people who know how to take care of their hooves, etc. And on and on for all of the other animals. Lee also adopts out a lot of his dogs through Family Dog New Life Shelter. He does what is best for each animal, his pack, and the Sanctuary. I think it is vitally important for people to know and provide what their pets/animals need to thrive and be happy and healthy. The average dog just wants love and care, good food and walks and a comfy bed from its person. Some animals need a lot of space, like a horse. I'm so happy that these animals all find themselves at The Asher House and I'm really looking forward to a follow up video 😊❤.
