Congrats on the life changes!! All of my favorite content creators just film what they’re passionate about. Because you are an outdoor channel that leads a natural entry into health, physical fitness and travel. If you’re filming what you love to do, you will keep the fire burning and I think us followers will see and enjoy that content. Happy new season!
Thank you, I appreciate the insight! Sometimes I wonder if people dislike the wide variety but you are right, I need to just do what keeps us happy and motivated. Thanks again for the support and thoughts!
@@ChaseChristopher1they said it well.. people find channels for relevant content but stay for personalities, stories and life journeys. Being consistent in a niche or a few related niches will continue bringing in new viewers. The fastest way to lose old viewers is if the energy or wonder or peace or adventure of the snow camping videos disappears, so just look for those things in your life, whatever the activity, and capture and share the energy, and you'll be gold.
The Subaru videos are what brought me to your channel. I will always love that content. My favorite videos are of you in the snow with the Outback, cooking, and chilling in a hot spring. They are like ASMR in a way. Thanks for all you do! Oh and as a fly fisher myself, i would love to see more of that!

I would love to see you continue to produce authentic content because your passions really shine through in your videos. You are both really good at this!
Hey Chase, I have been with you for a long, long, time because of your content. Always different, always interesting. You do, what you do, and know that most of us are here for just that. I have always loved the camping vids, car or bike. And of course, the international trips are incredible. I don't think you can produce content, that I and many others, won't love. Like I say, "you do you". Enjoy the holidays. Oh by the way, with all that is going on in our nation right now, we need you, more that ever, to let us watch your lives, and enjoy the outdoors with you. We need you now more than ever!! Honestly I enjoy the authenticity of the content. I appreciate the videos that are spontaneous, weekend camping, biking, fly fishing, hiking. I also enjoyed the triathlon one. It’s those little, insignificant, spontaneous trips that make me imagine and appreciate we have out our back door. Personally I’d rather see those than the big ticket items like trips overseas. Regardless I will still watch and enjoy, I have been for a long time.
Thanks for the comment, Tom! I will do more "small" trips for sure. It is wild the amount of opportunity we have around here (I'm assuming your in ID as well?)! Thanks for the support and taking the time to leave your thoughts.

I am looking at building a sauna similar to yours. I really like your design and layout and having a set up similar that can move and be transported. All of it! Whether it’s vlogs during your travels, or how-tos, would love to just see you do stuff you’re passionate about or are up to. Congrats on everything and looking forward to seeing more of the next chapter!
Chase, if I think about the folks’ channels I watch - it’s not about the content. Mostly it’s because we have adjacencies in our lives, interests, and so it’s nice to see whatever based on your current adventures. I like to watch others travel, as I like to travel. I work renos at home, just as you’ve shared - I think it’s nice to see what you’re up to. Which is a weird internet byproduct, really - I feel like I “know” you but you have no idea I exist. Strange! Didn’t know you were a firefighter though. That’s a rad day job 💪🏼

I have been with you from near the beginning of your channel. I like your journey and what ever the content, I will continue to watch. Do what is sustainable for you and your life. Your relationship and supporting each other is the most important thing. ❤😊
Check out Meadow Lark Log homes out of Libby, MT. Yes they will bring the cabin / house to your building spot. They will assemble your cabin or you can put some or all of it together yourself. It’s Amish Owned and Operated. Elvie recently retired, so talk with Ben. After my wife retires, we’ll be selling our custom built home here in north central Washington state and relocating to Libby. Libby is in a banana belt and their winters are very close to our winters here. We’re having Meadow Lark build us a 1600 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with an attached 3 car garage. Our current house will be paid off by the time my wife retires and its currently appraised at $1.1 million.
Toy provide a great mix of content. I really took to the Outback vids since I have one. Possibly a video on basics of bikes, gravel v mountain , bike racks, etc. I’m torn btwn getting a gravel or mountain! Lol Keep the car camping vids coming- they’re popular and informative. Live streams? Lol - wish you well this winter season - I’m relocating from Charleston SC to near Asheville NC (Smoky Mountains) - lots of outdoor activities for sure
Thanks for the input, Brian! I spend far too much time researching biking stuff, perhaps videos on the topic would be fun to make. Gravel vs mtn is a real challenging choice, I've been concidering a gravel bike for a long time. Again, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave your thoughts. I appreciate you! Have a good move to Asheville, I've heard so much good stuff about the Smokies!
Hey Chase! I am late on this video and usually never comment but I just wanted to pass on some positivity for you and Sadie. Like a few others have said here, you actually inspired me to get the outback I already had, get it fitted for camping and my wife and I moved out to the PNW to explore! We go out when we can, like you guys but just know that I will always watch and support when I can! Super cool that you guys are getting to chase dreams like this and I cant wait for more content! From my perspective, you could make a video about pretty much anything and i would tune in to see whats up, though I am definitely more biased to the camping, travel and adventure race videos you may do in the future! Ive picked up cycling pretty hard myself recently and am training indoors (since its nonstop rain here in Vancouver WA) with the hopes to compete some in the summer! Again super excited for you guys and wish all the best! Thanks for all the inspiration.
Wow, thank you for the message! That is so cool to hear about your move. I grew up in the Battle Ground area, so I know that area (and weather) quite well. It’s beautiful! Thanks for the input and support, I really do appreciate it.

Hey Christoper, Have been looking at your videos for around 2 years, and you do know how to inspire people. But, maybe a random question, how old are you? I heard working 10 years as a fire-fighter, so kind of hard to guess. Thank you! 🙌🙌🙌
@@ChaseChristopher1 Hey Christopher, Thank you for your reply! So you can say, you have a follower from Latvia. 😊 For me, the most interesting videos are about the house rennovation, amazing that at such a young age you know how to do so many things with your hands, wou will always have work possibilites because of that. Kepp up the good work!!
@@Tom-ks4wc no way, awesome! We are planning a trip to Norway later this winter to visit my sister and her family that live there. It would be fun to tour around and see many of the Northern European countries someday. What’s something you enjoy about Latvia? Or you’d recommend visiting? I don’t really know what I’m doing most of the time, I just figure it out as I go. TH-cam is a huge help! Take care.
@@ChaseChristopher1 cool, traveling for sure opens new perspectives about life and people, and travelling is needed for the soul. Norway is not so far from Latvia, indeed! Travellling only to Latvia might not be worth it, because the country is simply put very small. My suggestion would be as follows: Travel quickly through all 3 Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). Start with Tallinn, Estonia (Tallinn as the capital city also has an airport), and wander around Tallinn, then come to Riga (which is Latvia's capital city), and then further go to Lithuania, Klaipeda. You can rent a car, or travel by bus/train. All 3 Baltic States have a long coastline with Baltic Sea, so you can travel along the coastline, and always stop and look at the sea, or do hiking near the sea (it is an official trail, the so called "Sea-Trail" or "Jūrtaka" in Latvian). Or you can snowboard in winter, or enjoy the beaches at summer (beaches with no people). All 3 countries are as beautiful as in winter, as in summer. Tallinn and Riga have historical and beautiful old-cities, which are generally tourist orientated, and historically well preserved. The prices for transport, accomodation, food, etc. are generally okay-ish. Not very cheap, but rather somewhere in the middle. Tourists are not so many, as well as general population is small, so you don't really feel overcrowded. Hope this helps! 🙌🙌🙌 Thank you!
I’m a new subscriber, a retired architect/computer engineer. I travelled Europe for a year, in the early 80s with my Pentax MX and a few lenses in college and loved photographing the architecture there and loved it! After retiring, I bought a good camera, and I am selling my 12 year old Range Rover, and picking up a new loaded Subaru Outback or a stripped down Land Cruiser 1958, to travel the U.S. photographing wildlife, landscape and architecture as much as my old body will allow. There are places I can no longer physically get to, the point being, that your decision about doing this while you are young, fit and able, is the right decision. I look forward to following your adventures and would request some of your videos include recommendations for good locations to photograph that don’t require more than a 3-5 mile hike.
Wow, that sounds like an interesting career and history of traveling. Congrats on retirement, it sounds like you're setting yourself up for a fun phase of life. Either rig option would be fun for your US trip! I apreciate the input on video topics and making the choice to do more of them. Thanks again for all the support and the comment!
Well I don’t care about the Subaru videos a whole lot( sorry north enders ), but a video on the sweet Ford truck would be cool! My ford also has the same Bob Rice Ford sticker on the tailgate.
Congrats and best make the most of your youth cause it goes so fast and then your 60 like me and even though i can still backpack, im much slower. Whatever makes you two happy is what i would prefer watching, otherwise youll just be faking it. Try vanlife with some sort of twist. Whatever, enjoy the moments..

As much as I can appreciate someone asking what we want to see, I have to realize I don't really know your life, and what you want to do. We are not your priority here, you and your wife are, and you realize that. You're the driver here, we are simply the passengers going for a ride. What you want to show us, and when, is entirely up to the 2 of you. Thing is, don't make this a burden to you, because that's when people get burnt out. This has to be something you're excited to show someone, and something you're excited to share, like with a friend. This is a time in your lives where you get to enjoy each other, and the freedom of being together, and doing interesting things. This time doesn't last forever, because life happens quickly, and things change, and you are here to enjoy life, and learn. Take advantage of that now. I'm assuming Chase is reading this, and I have to say, your wife has a very nice countenance about her. The two of your together mesh well. Chase, for you to find someone who enjoys all the things you enjoy and more, is a Godsend. The two of you were always meant to be with each other, and I feel that happened long before you came Here. Have fun, and look forward to hearing about your adventures in the future when you're able. 👍😃

Great input, thank you! I checked out those channels and can see why you like them. Elsa Rhae does some incredible work! Thanks for the support and comment, i appreciate ya.
I love the Travel, camping, projects and vehicle content! Do what you’re passionate about and we’ll watch! I’ve even rewatched some of your videos recently and they’re just as pleasurable to watch a second or third time 😊
Thanks for the comment & the support, I appreciate it!
Welcome! 😁
All of it! Whether it’s vlogs during your travels, or how-tos, would love to just see you do stuff you’re passionate about or are up to. Congrats on everything and looking forward to seeing more of the next chapter!
Noted! Thanks for the support & taking the time to leave a comment, we appreciate you!
Sam, thanks for the comment and the insight. Totally makes sense!
Thanks for the support and taking the time to share your thoughts, I really appreciate it. It is wild the connections we can make online without having ever met in person! I hope we cross paths someday. Take care!
Very interesting, I'll take a look! Sounds like you guys have an awesome retirment plan! Thanks for sharing.
Love the camping and diy vids, but have always watched anything you put out since your passion definitely comes through the screen
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the support and input!
I’m a subscriber that enjoy your camping and travel videos.
Chase, you are a very talented filmmaker and have such an interesting lifestyle! Just keep doing your thing and it will always be entertaining!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Toy provide a great mix of content. I really took to the Outback vids since I have one. Possibly a video on basics of bikes, gravel v mountain , bike racks, etc. I’m torn btwn getting a gravel or mountain! Lol
Keep the car camping vids coming- they’re popular and informative.
Keep chasing your dreams you two. Looking forward to seeing whatever you plan to do. Enjoy. I bought a Subaru. Lol
We wanna see it all brother! Keep going and we'll keep "chasing" you 👊
I see what you did there... Thanks for the support, will do!👍
You’re one of my favorite content creators. Live your life!! Congrats on your decisions.
Brah. We’re different ethnicities yet we have so much in common. It’s wild. Thanks for the experiences. You and Sadie are awesome.
I appreciate that! Where are you from & where do you live now? Thanks for being here, I appreciate the support!
@@ChaseChristopher1 haha thats awesome! small world, were only about 10 minutes from there. Stay safe out there and I look forward to seeing what you guys do together in the future!
Hey Christoper,
Have been looking at your videos for around 2 years, and you do know how to inspire people.
But, maybe a random question, how old are you? I heard working 10 years as a fire-fighter, so kind of hard to guess.
Thank you! 🙌🙌🙌
Tom,
Thanks for watching and the support! I am 28 y/o currently. I started firefigting the same week as I graduated from high school.
Take care!
@@ChaseChristopher1 Hey Christopher,
Thank you for your reply!
So you can say, you have a follower from Latvia. 😊
For me, the most interesting videos are about the house rennovation, amazing that at such a young age you know how to do so many things with your hands, wou will always have work possibilites because of that.
My suggestion would be as follows:
Travel quickly through all 3 Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania).
Thank you!
you have the most authentic channel I've seen on youtube in many years. Best of luck with the next chapter!
Hah! I should make something about the old Ford, we love that thing. My grandfather-in-law bought it new and we just bought it from him last year.
@ that’s an awesome truck! Mine was also my dads before it was mine. Cool to keep them in the family!
love your contetnt, just got such a chilled vibe to it
Thanks!
Yay, camping videos!
👍👍
Anything to do with hiking 😊
Sounds good to me!
Congrats! 😊❤️
Thank you!
Love the car camping videos 💯
Thanks!
Thank you! It’s always a delicate balance of work vs play, so I appreciate the input. We are actually considering getting a van to setup as a camper, we think it would make traveling the PNW much easier! Thanks for the support and the comment🙏🏼
Do a channel about jigsaw puzzles !
My first DIY build was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle...
love your channel .More car camping please
Thanks! Roger that, will do!
Its time to start a family. Most important thing in life!
Maybe soon-ish!
Travel/Backpacking!
Thanks for the input!
It is me (chase) reading! Great thoughts, thanks for sharing them. It's wild to me that people are interested in anything I do/share but I am grateful for it. I certainly want to take a sustainable path that supports our lifestyle well. Thanks for taking the time to watch and share your thoughts, I really appreciate it, Greg!
Travel costs funds, takes years to acquire $$$ to buy home & family.
We’re doing our best👍
Travel!
👍👍
more car camping!
Will do!
have enjoyed your content for a few years. My 2 cents? Stay in the Western US and video it.
Thank you! RIght on, we will certainly be doing a lot more in this region. Any specific areas you think would be interesting? Thanks for the input!
@@ChaseChristopher1 I live in Reno so am partial to state parks in Nev , OR, Cal, and Wash. Astoria OR (went there last June, then to Sequim, WA). The national parks I went to are incredibly crowded (Olympic, Bryce, Zion, Yosemite). Crazy crowded.
Ive never watched one of your videos and not liked it. Any adventure is fine with me.
Thanks for the support, I appreciate you!
