Just recently bought one and trying to get better at shooting pistols bought the same holosun sight as well trying to zero it but again not the greatest shooter ever 😓 but hey I’m getting there it’s my new daily carry
@@stevenrizzo8276 EDC will always be personal preference but I personally carry a Walther PDP compact now in a Tier 1 Axis elite holster. Thanks for supporting our channel!
@@jerrysolonsmith8471 Glad you enjoyed it. No we are shooting at an actual certified range. There are just a number of buildings situated around it. After reviewing this one I picked up a PDP compact for myself and it is now my favorite EDC.
The snappiness comes from a “stepped barrel” . I own one , and was curious why my Glock 17 shot with a lesser recoil. Did a fair amount of research and the best I could get was that the barrel was stepped, which adds a little more fps also.
@@xm3ntal620 Thanks for the tip. My PDP's factory guide rod broke just after shooting 200 rounds. A couple months ago, I put in ZR 15 lb spring but getting failure to fire when using 124 grain S&B ammo, or when shooting one hand with 115 grain ammo. Never had any issues with my CZ, HK, and Glocks out of the box.
I have a full size PDP. It has a plastic guide rod also. I just don’t understand why that’s even brought up as an issue? Two things… 1) you could replace with metal 2) not sure why you would replace it because I guarantee that plastic guide rod will last your lifetime and your son’s/daughter’s lifetime.
Walther plastic guide rods won't last a lifetime, mine broke just after shooting 200 rounds. Same issue reported by others in online forums. But maybe I got a lemon, so it just sits in my safe
@ I hear you. I’ve got at least 4000-5000 rounds through my stock 5" PDP (plastic guide rod) with no issues and not a bit of weakness shown on it. I inspect every part during every cleaning.
@@gabrielm24 Could very well be. I would contact Walther and let them replace it. I have a bunch of rounds through mine with no issues so far. Hopefully they can fix their mistake for you.

How does the PDP compare to P320 M18? Looking for a new EDC and its down to these two i know Sig but never handled a Walther.

I love my PDP, I have the compact with a 5" barrel (can you tell I'm from Canada)
They are exceptionally fast pistols. Definitely on my shopping list!
Are these guys shooting in a public park? Great video though..... I'm seriously considering the pdp compact and this vid kinda bolstered that

The chamber is stepped.
Snappy but accurate. It's hard to beat out a p365 axg legion
@@q4life551 I would love to try the P365 AVG Legion for sure. I often carry the P320 X Carry Legion which I love also.
We forgot the p99🤔🤔🤔🤔
Good catch :)
Is that the pdp f on the table ???
I would say Yes

Check out the Bul Armory Tomahawk it's 750 and it's insane.
I like Walther PDP, but not a fan of factory plastic guide rod.
Which guns at this price don't have plastic guide rods?
Zr tactical guide rod with 15 lb spring is where its at
20 years ago I said the same about poly frames.
