I carried various 9mm Shields for about 11 years. Had no issues with them other than their capacity. But once I found the PSA Dagger Micro (basically G43X MOS), I couldn't get rid of my Shield fast enough. It was a night and day difference for me personally, as far as fitting my hand, capacity, features, ease of maintenance and the aftermarket options. Plus, I was able to get a red dot, holster and extra mags for the price of a G43X MOS. They are both fine pistols. Choose the one that fits your wants and needs and train hard with it.
I have a shield plus, a micro dagger, and considering a 43x. I like the micro dagger, needs some breaking in. But I think it's main role will be a range toy / backup
@jeffm42o Nice. Have you had any issues with the Micro that resulted in the need of a break-in period? Mine had no issues, but I've heard some complaints about quality control and consistency. It's always possible I got lucky. But after a single trip to the range I began carrying it daily.
Good video looking at both guns for my first handgun purchase. Going to range to fire both and see what feels best for me. I feel put enough practice with either gun and you’ll get comfortable and good with it. Just my thoughts.
@@garystraube9235 You are 100% correct. Good plan to actually try both to see which you prefer. Neither of them will let you down. Thanks for supporting our channel!
You can get shields with night sights ported barrel and slide they all have better triggers threaded barrel 10 13 15 round mags optics ready Its the better pistol out the box
I own both, but my edc is the Shield Plus.
@@MrSheldonjohnson They are good aren’t they? Thanks for supporting our channel!

@@thatsrich944 Would love to test out a Dagger also. Been hearing good things. Thanks for supporting our channel!
Big mistake
You got rid of a shield plus for a PSA dagger? That's a horrible decision, shields smoke PSA

Shield plus all day. It has a better trigger, optic ready, comes with OEM 10,13, & 15 round mags. The only downfall is no picatinny rail for light.

Shield all day, everyday. For me the accuracy of the Shield Plus was vastly superior, in my hands
