    great find the last bedroom looks like someone could be living there. Thanks

      Yes, it's possible someone had been squatting there at one point in time. The place used to have power, so it would have been perfect for them. Thanks for the comment!!

    Enjoyed this video!! The size of the kitchen was amazing!!!! I’d say there was a lot of time spent in there!!❤ the kitchen seems to be where the family and friends seem to gather at my house ❤️. The stairs and old wooden floors were great too!!!! Just don’t make them like that anymore!! Pam in Illinois ❤

      It was a very big kitchen, which is great if you spend a lot of time cooking. Also, can't go wrong with nice old wooden floors. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks very much for your comment!!

    Hi SS. Oh summertime summertime! Raspberries. Mmm. My sis had loads of them on her property that we would devour. If that place was close enough, I’d go pick them every year. Such a mixture of very old to newer. The plank floors were something. Glad you didn’t get stung.

      Haha thanks. Ya, it was a bit of an odd house if you asked me but was nice to see some of the older woodwork still intact! I can't wait for the warm weather to come back! Thanks for the comment!!

    I Like the Still Pictures, they spoke even more than the tour . Do you ever wish to pick up items & put in a saver place in the homes & building . Sometimes Treasures just lie by an open window or door to be destroyed. SOOO SAD !!!

    • @StaticSpaces
      @StaticSpaces  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This house had a lot of weird things in it. Random pieces seemingly from decades apart. I like the overgrown garden look with it. If anyone ever restores that place they should try to keep as much of that look as they can.

    • @StaticSpaces
      @StaticSpaces  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, the house had a strange feel to it, modern yet old, it made for an interesting explore. I agree, the only reason to buy an older home is to leave as much intact as possible, otherwise why not just buy something more modern in the first place. Thanks for the comment!!

      I'd really love to have all the old Singer sewing machines 🥰. I learned to sew on an old Singer sewing machine😌. I also learned to wash on an old wringer washing machine with a tub beside of it🖐️. Good memories 😌🥰. I'll always be thankful to the person who taught me to use these😘.

    I really liked this explore. The blackberry bush and beautiful plants were nice to see.
    This house appears to be and older home with some modern updates to me. The outside of the house is unique and like you said the floor was definitely beautiful and I believe from a time long ago because when you see craftsmanship like that it's rarely from modern times in my opinion because its expensive and unfortunately as time has gone by housing is just a cheap shell of low quality in my opinion. Its all about money and how many houses you can build in a spot.
    I liked the house alot. Very sad its left to rot. Always strange to me all the stuff people leave behind once they move out for whatever reason.
    I often wonder why the bank or mortgage company or owner of home maybe they were renting etc doesn't sell the house or get someone else moved in.
    Who knows maybe the house was paid for but I doubt it. Could be to much to repair who knows but it looked stable to me.
    I always try and imagine who lived in this abandoned places and why they sit rotting 😢.
    Thanks for the video 😊

    • @StaticSpaces

      I think for houses like this one, it is likely already paid for, as to why it was left like this, we may never know. Thanks very much for your comment and glad you enjoyed it!!

    A good floor plan and a solid structure. If some $$$ spent on it, It would be around another hundred years but if it's to be saved then it'd better be sooner than later.
    This place looks automatically haunted but so what? They'd have more problems with me than I with them, I promise you. Another good video.

    James this place is gross. EW those 2 adding machines you showed us were older than
    dirt. I was glad that basement was flooded, so creepy looking especially with frogs jumping
    all over. That last bedroom you showed upstairs looked like maybe someone sleeps there
    at night. Just looking at that place with all the live bugs and the dead ones made me
    itchy. I thought everything in that house was nasty, everything except that new bible.
    On the outside the house looks scary and ugly. It would probably would look better
    if it wasn’t so overgrown. Stay safe and well James. I hope you are enjoying the
    Memorial Day Holiday.🇺🇸
