I have a Korean friend who spent most of his childhood living in Japan and this is what he sounds like when he speaks Japanese lmao
I had a Korean friend who was raised in Korea before her family moved to Australia where she learned English before they moved to the USA. She simultaneously had a Korean and Australian accent when speaking and it was so awesome to hear it 😆

That's apparently what Americans sound like to most non-native level speakers. My parents are fluent in English, but not native-level like me. They think East and West coast accents all sound the same. The only thing they can distinguish is the Southern twang.
