And the color of it is Black, thus the name.

Fun fact: obsidian is a REALLY REALLY sharp mineral, its 5 times sharper than a normal sword/knife
Other fun fact: It is EXTREMELY fragile and delicate and can break upon a simple hit, so while it's sharper it has the durability of 1%

A name i came with was "Yokaze", which means "Nocturnal breeze". Flows softly like wind and it's black like the night. An excelent blade for a Shinobi, since it's hard to spot in the dark.

I have a blade like this, i mounted a black tourmaline crystal on it to serve as the pommel.
I also have another project blade that WAS a demon slayer replica katana, but when i disassembled it i noticed it had a full tang so i removed all the decoration, added painted stock parts decided to mount a selenite sphere on the pommel, and ive anodized the blade so the steel is a bluish white color. I love symmetry and now have a balanced blade set of katanas of darkness and light

" which translates to "void edge" in japanese.
INTETSU would be nice, it means "Shadow Iron" in Japanese and is the weapon of ikki kurogane from chivalry of a failed knight.
boidoejji doesn't actually translate to void edge in japanese - it's just replicating the pronounciation, "boido" = "void", "eijji" = "edge".
the character/word for void in japanese is actually the same as the character for sky, "sora" and if i'm not wrong the character for blade is "ha"
so it'd probably be soraha or kushoha
(the latter means empty space blade)

@@marielosvindas1247 real Obsidian is not like Minecraft Obsidian. Yeah, it's the sharpest material, but it's also absurdly fragile. You can attemot to cut anything with a Katana like that, but there are more chances that the blade will break rather than cutting whathever it hits.
