Historically, after Iddi Amin expelled Ugandan-Indians with British passports from Uganda in 1972, most of them were resettled in Leicester City and Birmingham, England. Hence the high Indian-British population in those two cities.

Everything he said is true....yes, there are a lot of Ghanaian Doctors and Engineers that live very well but most of them struggled for about 15 years or so before reaching that level. A lot of them are also OLD getting closer to retirement. When you first arrive in America, the first 15 to 20 years is full of problems and struggles. The only Ghanaians doing very well are the ones that have lived in America for about 25 years or more. The biggest secret about America is, the longer you live in America, the deeper you will understand the American system....Most Ghanaians living in America haven't lived in America long enough to master the system. You have to invest 30 years in America before you will have peace of mind. If you already have parents here then you will suffer less but if you are here in America BY YOURSELF, then you will face a lot of problems for many years.....The system in America is only designed to benefit ppl who have lived here for 20 plus years.

I know surely people would not believe what he's truly saying. As I'm writing now, I'm in debt of over $55000, and by the time I finish paying, I will end up paying about $80, 000. My phone I'm using now, is on two years payment plan so when someone asks you to buy him an IPhone 15, I laugh in my head. How can I be owing on the phone I use and buy you about $1500. 00 in cash? People back just don't understand the system here. I just finished paying off my car in 5 solid years. So you drive a car but in reality it's not yours until you finish paying. You live in house but technically not yours entirely until you finish paying and by defaulting payments for 3 consecutive time, that house is taken from you and all that you paid initially had gone wasted.

You have spoken well but the system in Ghana sucks in our era. I open a business in Ghana and it wasn’t easy. I loaned some money to people in Ghana $30,000 to complete their project. I signed documents at the court that they owed me money and they have pay back with some little interest as stated on the paperwork at the court . As I am writing this now they have refused to pay back. I took them to court and the judge said one of the guys gave the money to his business partner to come and pay me so I should deal with that particular guy not the whole team. Besides that they have rather finished their project and making money but they have paid a lawyer and a judge to make my case as a foolish case. They just plotted not to pay the money back. I personally will make my money in abroad invest most of it in abroad. I can’t leave my kids abroad and go live in Ghana 🇬🇭 to run a business. We need to focus on our family.

Anyone struggling abroad will also struggle back home. We see developed countries as a struggle because we play in Africa. A lot of people enjoy free pay in Ghana that's why they complain abroad. In America, u pay for the beauty of the country. In fact, don't take him seriously. If u have the chance, travel.
