To explain what sir says why the Earths both sides bulge even though one side has the moon facing it and the other doesnt;
The face of the Earth facing the moon is pulling on the Earths ocean.
On the earths other side where the moon is not pulling; the moon is pulling on the Earths land; not it’s ocean.
Therefore, the ocean just stays where it was. (Technically becuase of this the Earth is trying to crush itself but it isnt’)
What I'm trying to say is that the moon facing the side of the earth is only pulling on its water
On the other side that has no moon facing it the moon is pulling on the land almost trying to crush the Earth.
But the ocean doesn't get affected by the gravitional force; therefore it stays where it was.
(It's very confusing I am still a bit confused)

Richa…When moon is facing side the direction of gravitational pull and centrifugal force are opposed in the opposite direction…so…these two forces are subtracted. Please find, “what school gets wrong about tides! Inertia and space time” and I’ll explain further if you like?
