Beta survived because they were really different from other brands because they make very aggressive engines (the 125 4stroke seems like a 2stroke) and because of that they're motorcycles are perfect for trial (popular back then) and hard enduro (popular now)
Good video that bro some sick editing and the info in the video was ten out of ten if you ever come to the UK there's a gang of us who ride some times 30 strong 😂😂😂 come have a bash
I appreciate this bro! You wouldn’t think it, but this video took about 15 hours to make!!! From searching the history, piecing it all together, riding scripts, then finally editing into a video and re doing it three times over! Maybe one day if the channel got big enough i could do a trip to the UK and rent some enduro bikes!
Well crafted video, a bit of a departure from your typical style. And I don't mean to imply your other videos are not well crafted .Its just that this one is heavily edited and has loads of 3rd party B roll . Did you edit this entirely on your own ? Also did you create the thumbnail ? No shade my friend ,its very good I applaud your effort .I know what it takes to put a video like this together .
This was my first time trying to make a video like this! It took countless hours and multiple takes! Probably 15-20 hours to make this 5 minute video lol. Yes I edited this entire video, the thumbnail and everything else! Im a 1 man band! I appreciate the support!
They should've stuck to mopeds and trials bikes. My 2021 500 RR-S is a fragile POS and the suspension is pure garbage. I have early to mid 2000s KTM RFS bikes that get abused much more than my Beta ever did and they just keep on ticking. (pun intended) After 200 hours the forks on my Beta have no anodizing and inspire zero confidence. I raced the bike once. Once. I think I finished 5th in Vet Expert which is pretty dismal when I can podium on a 2007 KTM 250XCF-W. Also at 200 hours the motor suddenly had an oil starvation issue. Despite having replaced the stupid weak plastic oil pump gears (yes modern KTMs unfortunately use them too, they suck just as bad) it would seem that the little pieces of said gears probably clogged oil passages or jets and the subsquent repair bill was $2500. Zero aftermarket support means a piston kit is $550 and a gasket kit is $300. :rolleyes The bike went to the dealer in the spring of 2023 to be repaired which leads into my next grippe. Seems the Beta factory didn't have the replacement parts AND they shut down for the summer so they didn't have any until the fall. Wait, what? Seriously? So now the bike is repaired but the riding season is over in Canada so instead of putting it up for saler in the spring of 2023 and getting better resale as well as the possibility to use the money for a better bike, it now has to sit until spring of 2024 because that's when this piece of shit will be worth the most it's ever going to be worth. Thanks Beta for making a substandard product and fucking me over on the resale too. Eat shit.
Sounds like you had some unfortunately luck with that bike. Although i don’t see the 500’s very commonly purchased here in my part of canada. The real bread and butter of beta is their 300’s.
The ones with crank bearing failures? Listen, the Cross-Dresser is a great bike. Hell my friend who started riding bikes in 2019 has won the women's Intermediate XC and Enduro titles (and the accompanying Grand Champion plates) in Ontario the last two years running on one. But she's about to start outriding it and frankly I don't trust even the 300 race editions so I'm going to suggest an orange bike next. Half the Beta demo bikes at the Corduroy this year injested sand and needed rebuilds. Brand new less than 10 hour bikes. Keep 'em.
Beta also produces ktm engines anything under a 200cc is beta licensed aswell so the only engine the orange brand build r there 250s and 300s i have swtiched over to husquvarna from beta but not tpi im carbed
Ouch! Nice video. You should have been a bicycle rider for a spell before making this video. Bianchi name is having a rough time. I do appreciate the video though
Ooihhhh God nooooo . I own many Beta motorcycles and wanted to listen to this but your fast rambling of everything and your absolute flat tone on presenting this video totally put me of in less than a minute. Please get someone else to speak with feeling and depth when presenting such a historical motorcycles video. 👎in other words man your video is great but your narating of the video is terrible and so off putting .
nice I don't think i have seen you be for but I am already subscribed
Maybe from back in the days when i made car or truck videos?

Thanks for the History lesson 👽👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
They never gave up or quit what they was good at !
Yes!
Great video! Love my 2023 Beta 300RR. It’s a nice contrast to my Yamaha WR450.
I appreciate it! Over 15-20 hours went into making this short 5 minute video! Man id love to try a 300rr!

Interesting! Didn’t know that!
No KTM builds all of their engines in house. Beta made the 85. 65 and 50 engines but that ended in 2009.
Extra interesting!
@@AaronsEnduro The current 80 Beta trials bike is that engine they made for KTM.

It's only a couple hours old. TH-cam says you can edit before too many hear it. Someone already sent this this to me though. Hurry. @@AaronsEnduro

I’ll try something different next time. This was my first time making a video like this. Thanks for the input
