I've had DB's for over 20 years and have gotten a lot of good ideas from our videos!

Great video, nice cart. These David Bradley’s are great machines. It’s sad there are so many gardeners that don’t know of their existence , and how easy they are to work on. I have 7 and multiple garden attachments. Now I need to find time to get one back in working condition. Have a great day.

Don't throw any thing away, keep every part no matter how useless it may seem.
People would ask me, what are going to do with all that junk, and I would say, some day I am going to fix them. So now that is what I am doing, when the implements are repaired and painted, people don't call it junk any more.

@@billywatson8931 True words sir. I keep every part I pull in case I can’t find I can fabricate or have some friends that are machinist and I repair and service latches and mills as my day job. Love them machines.

I like it. Nice and simple. "Now turn that computer off and get back to work now."

You got it all figured out. Im looking for spray paint for the wheels on mine. Everyone says use rustoleum fern green. But im pretty sure they stopped making it. What did you use?

I mixed a rustoleum green and yellow, equal parts I read that some people used John Deer green and yellow.
On the red I use rustoleum safety red, this may not be the correct shade of red but I like it anyway.

I need some advice. I am putting a new motor on a Super 3 that came with a 3 horsepower continental engine. If I put a 5 horsepower on there and get it in a hard pull with the turning plow, do you think it might bust the gearbox or you think it will take it? I could put a 3 1/2 horsepower on it. I want to put a Briggs and Stratton engine on it. I like watching your videos by the way. You got a lot of nice tractors.

On the later DB Sears put a 51/2 brigs and a 6HP Wisconsin on the same gear box,
this gear box is made strong enough to handle a lot more power, I have seen sugar cane mills pulled with them,

Just a question for ya, on a factory david bradley sulky how long is the axle, how high is the seat mounting bracket from the axle and how much of the axle is used up by the wheels? Just wanting to know as im building my own sulky and have already fabricated the gen 3 hitch for it. Also love the videos they have helped me out beyond belief so thanks!

On one of my videos , David Bradley implements you can see my sulky and another video, David Bradley pully size, shows two other riding carts.
The seat height is 16" , wheel out side width is 30" and inside is 19" with 8" wheels on a 3/4 square axle with round spindles.
Good luck and have fun Billy
