Have a great weekend, gang. I’m watching the pod and am “First to the Like” as I am smoking just under 25 pounds of pork (Boston butt, obviously) for a bunch of Latvians. I started it at 10PM Friday and it’s getting some early attention Saturday 5AM.
All hail smoked meats! Another thing we have in common, professor. My family owned a smokehouse when I was young. Now, it’s an excuse for my brother and I to spend the night drinking beer.
@@philliphart6327 I knew our spirits were kindred, but damn! I know you know the smell that sets into clothing when administering a smoke. There is no better Autumn aroma.
@@peteviksnins4656 i can smell it now! for fun I have to ask- did you do a binder and rub? Prefer a specific wood? For pork we usually do mustard binder and a dry run that has plenty of paprika and cumin. For wood, we avoid fruit woods for pork and mostly do oak or mesquite.
In my opinion anyone who has problems with speed limits is not mentally suited driving in traffic, thou i wouldn't want to drive in US in general knowing how little training drivers need over there to get liccence.
