The Caul is a pealess whistle, so it has a slightly lower tone than the pea-style metal whistles, including the Force. Using beat technology, however, we have been able to emulate the trill sound of a traditional metal pea whistle. It was originally developed for hockey officials, to address issues they experience with the design of fingergrip whistles. The fingergrip style has been consistent for over 100 years; we felt it was time for an update, to introduce officials to a far superior design!
Hello Mano, what type of whistle did you buy, was it a Caul, Classic or other model? Can you please send a picture of it to us at sales@fox40world.com?
Nice review and facts video. Ordered two of them today! Thank you.

It’s what NHL referees & linesmen use
how does this compare to the normal fox 40 force whistle for ice hockey officials, does it sound the same?
It takes more air to blow, but I find it louder and richer in sound.
