Boss GX700 - more Master of Puppets tones

Messing around with the GX700 again trying to get closer to Puppets. A big part of the sound is scooping out around 1K in the DAW but I think it's a little closer. I just need to play tighter so I can double or quad track but that's a while off, haha. Mic is a GLS Audio ES57 on an 80s era G12T-75 that should be fairly period correct for the album.

This sounds killer! I'd just give it more fizz, but that's because I like fizz. I have the exact same setup but usually run the GX through a Fryette PS100 😁
