Thanks for this. I've been looking at this game for a while. However, no one on TH-cam says this, can you play in a sandbox mode? I see a lot of youtubers building in this game, but are they still getting the NPCs to build and are fighting, or can you skip all of that and just build in the game? I see a lot of beautiful builds, and I'm definitely more of a builder than a fighter.
There is not a sandbox mode directly, but like other survival games, there is a custom game difficulty option. You can set things like enemy damage, the ability to pacify enemies, player stamina and stats, survival options like weapon durability, time in the shroud, and how long it takes to collect various resources and upgrades.
@@MacEbesGaming Thank you for the quick response, and that's good to know; it looks like a beautiful game to build in. I will probably pick it up when it goes on sale through Steam. It was on sale a while back, but I wasn't sure about it then. I recently got Medieval Dynasty and found I literally spend all my time gathering and building a town. I'm glad it has custom settings, and I'm happy to learn this game does too. And I think this one will be better, because you can custom build the buildings/homes and be a lot more detailed.
Very well reviewed. Everything you put in the cons is something ive been hoping they improve on.
