      Also whats the byproduct of creatine usage is something called creatinine, essentially one of least the first signs of AKD/AKI Acute Kidney Damage/Injury, like when being severely hydrated certainly for an extended period of time, it's then found in the blood stream when it shouldn't be there (muscles aching is a sign of it).

    Only thing I'd like to comment: Skip the loading phase and stick to only 5g a day if you're worried about digestive issues like bloating or diarrhea. Yeah, you won't reach saturation in 7 days and only in like 28, but you're still using the same amount in total, just not using x4 to quicken the saturation. If you're not bothered with a delayed peak effect, skip it.

    • @pietpadda593
      @pietpadda593 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @PvM also, don't bother with "cycling" like some of the bottles say on their labels. There's no benefit to stopping.

    • @dekapitatorr
      @dekapitatorr ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I started loading phase of creatine 4 days ago first time in my life and there are bunch of benefits . I am more focused, similar to when you take speed or cocaine, I can feel my muscles day after workout while before taking creatine I would feel stiff and tired, my stamina increased way too much, erections are harder, libido went through the roof.. so far so bloody good. I cant wait to see what happens after finishing the cycle. and to think that I avoided this supplement my whole life is kinda embarrassing thing to admit.

    • @pietpadda593
      @pietpadda593 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dekapitatorr i think those are Placebo effects. Loading phase only accelerates saturation, the effects are much more subtle and unrelated to what you mention. Also, there is no on or off "cycle".
      In summary, creatine helps transfer a phosphate to ADP for better ATP regeneration. This is only beneficial to you during anaerobic ATP use of around 30s after which you are out of energy. Any activity outside of Intense anaerobics will mostly likely not be affected, except for indirect effects like increased strength and Fitness as a result of anaerobic Training carrying over etc
      There's even a chance you may be non responder to supplemented creatine.

    • @dekapitatorr
      @dekapitatorr ปีที่แล้ว

      Creatine per se does not induce patter hair loss or baldness, there's a genetic predisposition to that and some association to DHT so in the end if you were to be bald you will be, taking creatine or not.

    Let me be a voice for some of you that want to take Creatine. People need to realize that every supplement out there reacts differently to each individual person. I've been lifting for about 8 years now. I'd cycle on and off Creatine through out that time. However, this past year I had blood work done and my levels were abnormal. My Creatinine levels were way to high. This caused abnormality of my kidney function. Mind you I never exceeded more than 5 grams a day. I spent a couple thousand dollars on tests such as an ultra sound and CT scan, and also had to have an endoscopic surgery. The conclusion that the nephrologist and urologist came up with was that my problems were stemming from the creatine and the caffeine that i was getting from pre workout. I just wanted to share this because I thought nothing of it until I had a blood test taken one day. Can creatine get you great results? Yes. But please be advised and get blood work done yearly to make sure your levels aren't out of wack.

    • @Entrepreneur_Wealth_HQ
      @Entrepreneur_Wealth_HQ 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @Just a Man Trying To Learn Creatine doesn't contain caffeine. However, most pre-workouts will contain caffeine and creatine within the product substance. A product that I've been using lately that helps with energy and blood flow without having creatine and or caffeine in it is called pump mode by evolution nutrition.

    Creatine can be consumed for a long time. It must be consumed with something sweet, so it is better absorbed by the human body. I use it in the morning after sleep 2-3 grams of protein and 2-3 grams after exercise. When taking creatine, it is necessary to limit the salt in your diet to reduce the load on the kidneys, as creatine retains water, and salt exacerbates this process.

    When I first tried creatine, it didn't do anything, I think it was because I had only been training seriously for about a couple months and didn't have that mind muscle connection, leanness and fullness, i tried it again but instead of 5g a day i do 5g 3x a day now and i noticed I'm way more fuller and i look leaner and tighter and i get pumped a lot easier. For me, Taking more DOES work and I might try 5g 4x a day for 20g daily and see how far i can get.

    I'm interested in taking creatine for the cognitive benefits it provides because I'm on a 90-95% plant based diet. My question is how long do the effects of creatine last for? Would the benefits I experience from taking creatine regularly last day-long , or do the effects only last a limited amount of time after each dose?

    • @Grimmjeaux
      @Grimmjeaux 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Creatine is more or less stored in the body in skeletal muscle tissues and some organs, primarily liver where it just helps recycle energy molecules.
      The effects become noticeable in about 1-3 weeks of a normal 3-6 g dose and wear off gradually in about a week or two stopping supplementation.

    • @berkocak4962
      @berkocak4962 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You wil start to see the effects after 3 weeks as the previous commenter stated. After 3 weeks your creatine levels will be saturated. So it wont matter if you take it in morning, afternoon or before sleep. You can even skip few doses after you have reached saturation and you would not even notice.

    Here’s something to ponder. PreHistoric man was known to have a muscular physique. And a lot of energy. Which they needed in order to hunt for food. When they did manage to kill an animal they most likely ate it immediately. Probably because they hadn’t eaten for a week or so. And they were also smart enough to know that it would spoil especially in warmer climates very quickly. And most likely they ate it raw. So in my thinking they must’ve had massive amounts of creatine from all the raw meat they were eating. Creatine is known to give you more energy. Which allows you to do more which allows you to get stronger. Creatine is also known to help cognitive function. They say man’s brain got larger when they ate meat. Creatine is most abundant in raw meat. I’m no scientist but if you line up all the dots it may answer the question of how we got so smart. Hum that still doesn’t explain my stupid dog.

      Humans brain size increased at the same time as they started taking nootropics and other psychedelic drugs but they dont want you to know that...they have even banned TED talks on this subject.

      No, now believe what you want the media and government want you to believe.
      Thier is no, repeat no scientific evidence to ban nootropics. DMT that is produced naturally in the human body for example.
      Carry on watching TV or DYOR.
