  • Creatine and whey protein are two of the most popular supplements used by athletes, bodybuilders, and fitness enthusiasts worldwide.
    Creatine is a naturally occurring compound found in muscle cells that helps produce energy during high-intensity exercise.
    Whey protein, on the other hand, is a protein source derived from milk that is known for its high bioavailability and fast digestion.
    In this video, we explore exactly what happens when you supplement with creatine and whey protein together.

      Pro Tip: I take 20g of creatine monohydrate, 14 desiccated liver tablets, 2g cryogenically frozen bee pollen, and 1/2 lb. of crushed alfalfa sprouts with my morning coffee enema. I personally prefer Duncan Donuts coffee (always with a little cream and sugar) and it must be at exactly 72 degrees to maximize the muscle building machinery. You see, 72 degrees tricks your body into releasing more IGF-1 factors and IGF-75 co-factors as your body is used to only having 98 degree substances delivered to this area, and this in turn really switches on your "muscle making machinery" like nothing else possibly can. This is the Weider "No Pain/No Gain" Principal at it's very finest....only the brave go here, butt it's worth it!

      Hi, I'm probably misinterpreting your comment, but if you're sore every day after your workouts then you're working out too hard. Like maybe trying to progress too quickly. If so, then you're probably on the road towards developing an injury. I also suggest taking a close look at this --- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creatine

Couple this with taking 5g of creatine a day and my strength, energy, cognition, mental focus and recovery have increased massively. I also workout hard 6x(weights)a week. 5g of creatine is fine after the loading phase and I just use Equate Creatine Monohydrate ($28). I also workout in the am fasted and add collagen(skin and joints)(Equate $12 or Vita $22) to my whey protein shake. Creatine intake after workout and with my eggs/Turkey sausage/Oikos Plain Greek Yogurt. Hope this helps someone.

      Dude....try the Con-Crete creatine 30 mins B4 your workout. It's freakin amazing! It's cheap, and it's on Wal-Marrts shelf next to your other supps your buying. You won't go back to monohydrate ever. Plus it's quite cheap even. I've used the 6 Star pre workout and simply added L-Arginine tabs to get my total Arginine up to 4 grams....plus I like 5-6 grams of BCAA's before lifting to combat muscle tear down and shore up unwanted cortisol....and keep lifts to no more than 60-70 mins. for the same reason. Everything you're doing is solid. Hope this helps.

      @@Garnicajr1 yes. Research has shown that whey protein is easily absorbed and utilized quite efficiently by the body and I just take my creatine then as I view it as piggybacking on a already hungry and open system to process. If I’m not eating much red meat during a given week(always eat 6-8 eggs after working out and then shrimp/salmon/chicken/or beef for dinner)I’ll even go up to 10g of creatine instead of five since I’d typically get a solid dose from red meat.

    I take whey protein, creatine, and BCAAs after the gym, and load up on 5-6 mg of creatine before my workouts. Even on days that I don't workout, I take 1 serving of creatine as well as collagen peptides in my green tea and food. Its been a huge game changer in my workouts lately.

    • @ubatooba8467
      @ubatooba8467 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Take your 5-6 grams of BCAA's BEFORE your workout. It helps protect your muscles from catabolic loss by helping to keep cortisol levels down, and if your body wants to burn protein for muscle (it'll do that faster than it'll burn a fat cell) the BCAA's are there for protection. Another improtant strategy to keep cortisol down is to keep your lifts to no more than 60-70 minutes as cortisol levels skyrocket after an hour of lifting. Take an intra workout drink to further squash cortisol. I shoot for 20g protein + 60 grams of Maltodextrin or Dextrose. I actually use 1.5 scoops of Ultimate Nutrition Muscle Juice 2544 (Cookies N Creme) mixed with 20 oz of water and sip the whole time I'm in the gym. Keeps cortisol levels to a minimum. Hit your after W/O shake within 15 mins of being done...with vitamin....then have a full food meal 1 hour after that. ZMA is very benificial for recovery and quality sleep...and is dirt cheap. Minor tweaks, but you will feel this. Use Con-Crete creatine B4 your lift. You will be amazed how much better everything works together by getting this timing right. Peace.

If i take creatine it causes horrible cramping and pain, and not from dehydration, which can happen as well, but from naturally high levels. This can come from genetics, food sources , etc. Just have bloods done if ypur having issues, i would recommend this beforehand, as if your on creatine ypur levels will obviously be high. I always recommend bloodwork, i know i know, i didnt do these things in my twenties either, but you really should, knowing your biomarkers can help your training and planning, which is when you can get seriously huge, which is what happened when i actually started knowing what i need , when i needed it and how to train properly, i left bro treaining in the late twenties, and by thirty had found a much deeper level of the sport and not only gained sized , but i was only 12 pounds above competition weight year round. I am only leaving this comment here because this is a video for guys still learning and hoping can gain something from this. Take care and no matter what you do, be safe about it.

    I used creatine+whey for 3 months. I began experiencing disturbed sleep after a few weeks, especially during the second half of the night. I cut out the creatine and sleep began improving almost immediately. The interesting thing is that while on creatine, my sleep was crap but I still felt energized during the day, and my mental focus was on point. However, sleep is so much more important than any perceived training gains so the creatine had to go.

Creatine does make you stronger so that you're able to lift more than you would if you aren't taking it. Even though your muscles will shrink after going off creatine, they'll still be bigger than they were before you started taking them as long as you don't quit your workout regimen. Con-Crete for the creatine. Take it 20-30 minutes before you lift.
      As for protein, try to get an isolate or something that is instantized so it mixes well. Stay away from protein powders that are heat treated/pasturized as they are low quality, and stay away from concentrates whenever possible as they are heavy as opposed to others that mix into water and still have the consistency of water. This is super important. Here's why: old time bodybuilders used to get all their nutrition from whole foods, so 6 full meals a day was very common. When they stopped bodybuilding, they still ate 6 meals a day....and they got freakin fat becasue of it. If you have a meal cadence of: meal/shake/meal/shake/meal/shake and the shakes are light in consistency (like water) then when you quit lifting one day, you just pull the shakes and you do not have the body craving that full meal feeling it was used to. I recommend: Muscletech Nitro Tech, 100% Whey Gold Protein Powder because it's high quality, isolate is it's primary ingredient, and it also has glutamine in it....which is (trust me) really important for recovery and muscle building. Buy a 5 lb. tub on ebay for $68.19 right now....and don't have to buy glutamine separately. Take ZMA at bedtime. SNAC is the original manufacturer/patent holder on ZMA and is the brand used in every study ever done on it. Helps build strength and muscle, and greatly increases recovery and sleep quality. I can say that 5 hours of sleep on ZMA feels like you had 7 hours of (good) sleep. ZMA is also very inexpensive if you shop around. Hope this helps.

    Joseph here. Train USSR weighlift team many decade ago and am 69 years now. I have 49-inch chest, 35-inch waist, and 17-inch guns. Do compound core group weightlift routine 2x/week. All do to primarily one post recovery stack (PRS) that I have used for 40 years. Formula is 26 ounce apple juice, 30 gram whey, 8 gram creatine. Most important for all who lift the weight - must absolutely replace spent muscle glycogen right away post-workout to raise insulin which is only thing in the body that allows body to build muscle. So must add sugar to mix and please to do the PRS after last rep of last exercise and you will be amazed at the gains. Good luck!
