Are you supposed to do use it at an angle? I could never get the ink to come out of that pen.

Angle doesn't matter much, but f the tip doesn't have a gap it won't flow. I sometimes spread it apart with a knife blade.

@@evoke5670 I wipe it with a wet cotton bud or scratch it clean with some metal needle.

What’s the ink u are using? Tamiya enamel Panel line?

Yes, I use mostly Tamiya; haven't tried other brands.
