An old Electronic engineer here, THANK YOU FOR VIDEO due to you are helping people like that a lot. Of course i like old Marshall and Plexi's, but this is damn good amp in its own right. Rock on, wish you all the best Maestro Euge Valovirta!
Great video as always, bro! I’ve always loved how you’re not obsessed with amp noises or perfect tone. You just make it happen with your hands! Very inspiring!
Thanks for highlighting this amp. I purchased one about 2 years ago and it is my main studio amp. Absolutely fantastic '59 Plexi tones, after all, that is what the circuit is. With great mods to make it super user friendly I promote this amp as much as I can. Bugera is gold in my book.
It is a hard amp to get clean, so there is always a pushed drive unless you use low output pickups and drop the volume waaay down. Essentially it is a driven amp all the time so it adds that color to any pedal you put in front of it. I use a Digitech Bad Monkey in front of the top left input (channel 1 & 2 in parallel) for rhythm and just the bottom left input (cascaded 1 & 2) with no pedals for lead.
This is great my friend has the non-Infinium version with no master volume. It makes a HUGE difference. This is one of the best sounding lower cost amps I've heard.

Now that you've done this video, I'm very happy I chose the SV20. In a blind test, the player will make the difference before the amp does.
WOW.....I've always passed these by given that I think that sometimes amps can be priced a bit too cheap for their own good. Or, that this $600 would be better spent towards something of better quality. What I'm finding with this demo is that, you'd have to spend at minimum 3x's that amount to get a tone like this. Hmmm, i want to play it at home Maybe the JHS little black amp pedal and the master vol could get me a good sound on pretty low volume. Sounds great here. Thanks Euge - always top class!

Great review (ala Sykes riffs), maybe the Marshall feels more open (breathe), but burgers is really good for the price and more practical… please a review with wangs amps….
You can remove a tube from each pair and lower the power a bit. 150W is marketing speak, a 100W tube amp will output almost double that when cranked. 150W peak is not 150W RMS.
It's not 150 watts, the amp has 4 x EL34's, they only put out 50 watts per pair, Bugera is a bit off with their rating. Besides, the difference between a 50 and 100 watts is just 3db.
That Bugera sounded like a Plexi or 2203 played through a high-pass filter. Getting close to "shrill" territory, sonically. The Marshalls both had more balls. A twist of an EQ knob or a different cab might maybe clear most of that right up.
Bugera amps are not budget. Marshall amps are just over-priced. With all of the great new "budget" amps in production now all you're paying for with a Marshall is the legacy. The Marshall amps of today will never attain the vintage value of the old ones. Nice chops too by the way Euge.

@@jasonmartin3147most welcome! I agree fully about the thing going into production, scuffed neck and all. I always thought the white parts on that one should be a glow in the dark paint so it is all you see on stage when the lights are out before a song starts. Just a floating guitar in the dark....My favorite one though is his cartoon guitar.
question: are Yuo in switerzland?
You can swap 2 of the EL34 with 6L6 to get a blend, no biasing needed or just run with 2 power tubes
💪
oijoi, pelkkää tulta euge! sit seuraavaks se 1990 !
Tänks! Mahdollisesti joku päivä 🤟.
Moro! toi "The Song" on tonnin hyvä! mites toi soolo? nättiä, nättiä! ei pahemmin nykypäivänä riffit enää hirveesti yllätä mutta, tää oli hyvää shittiä! rupes kaljun pää mossaamaan tai noh, nykimään! nice nice!
Nasta kuulla! Tänks!
EV when will it be Randall Lynchbox?
No idea but would be cool to try that out someday 👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V cant wait! Its one of my favorite amps besides Kerry King Marshall
A brilliant take on Whitesnake, Huge.
Thanks! 😎👌
Great review (ala Sykes riffs), maybe the Marshall feels more open (breathe), but burgers is really good for the price and more practical…
please a review with wangs amps….
Thanks! 😎🙏👌
That's the sound I need! But in a smaller box/lesser wattage!
😎👌
I'm kind of curious to know how the Bugera acts with a Variac. I know Euge's got one.
👌😎
Great riff bro!
Thanks!
Damn that thing sounds bad ass!
Thanks!
Appreciate all the Randy love in this video 🤘
Don’t know what I’d do with 150watts. If they had a 50watt version. I’d be all over it.
Thanks!
Indeed.
🤟👌
Great song. Rock. So sound. Bass guitar 🎸. Rock 🔥🔥🤘👍
Thanks!
hey Euge, put kt66 for power in the Bugera, that's the sweetest tone, and you can't do it with a marshall!
I just borrowed the amp to do the video but a good tip anyways 👌. Thanks!
Thomanns price was something like 462 eur, which isn't that much for 150w tube amp? Sounded actually pretty damn good.
Indeed 👌😎. Especially for the price.
@@EugeValovirta230V And if you forget the price tag, it sounded pretty damn good . Very raw, but strong.
I agree.
great video
Thanks!
Nice 👍. Almost a Beethoven structure to the lead.
Thanks!
Sold my Bugera 1960 Inf two weeks ago. I tried a boutique plexi clone and couldn't like my Bugger anymore after that. Kids, don't try nice gear!
😎👌
This and the Marshall DSL100 both go for about 450€ ...i dont think you can go wrong with any of them in terms of value.
Yeah they’re pretty good for the price 👌.
Awesome amp
All you got to do now is get a good guitar processor, fractal, boss, Kemper, line 6 ,etc and get a great cab
That Bugera sounded like a Plexi or 2203 played through a high-pass filter. Getting close to "shrill" territory, sonically. The Marshalls both had more balls. A twist of an EQ knob or a different cab might maybe clear most of that right up.
There’s a reason why this costs around 450€ and the 1987x Plexi around 1450€ 😎.
🎉🎉🎉
Should check out the 1990, it's meant to be a copy of a JCM 900.
Someday 👌😎.
❤
😎🙏
What? I'm kinda preferred the Bugera, against the JCM.
Personal preferences. Hard to argue with those 😎.
cool =)
😎🤟🙏
decent sounding amp!
It is 🤟.
Bugera amps are not budget. Marshall amps are just over-priced. With all of the great new "budget" amps in production now all you're paying for with a Marshall is the legacy.
The Marshall amps of today will never attain the vintage value of the old ones.
Nice chops too by the way Euge.
Bottom line if it sounds good it is good.
They do tend to sound decent but break down a lot, very unreliable line of amps.
Can’t except wonders with that price 😎.
His verbal deliver is full of pregnant pauses, language barrier maybe? Or is it ego?
I’m just a chill Finnish dude 😎🤟.
