This kitchen backsplash is much more pleasing to the eye and aesthetic senses than most of their backsplashes.

Removing trees are definitely expensive. A tree fell on my house recently and removing it cost 5 grand. It’s crazy expensive.

  • @ingridarlington5745

I got a quote to remove a big tree in our front yard. $2,500. To trim the little branches $1,200. To take off all the branches and just leave the big trunk would be $1,700.
    Crazy!

That's because it takes a crew of people time to safely remove the tree and haul it away. Also equipment cost and maintenance. Then there's part of the root to remove. Also some places you have to get permits to remove the tree.

Native trees are awesome. I have an bunch of them around my house. So are pecan trees which are a native tree but most people forget. Then if you have room you need as many fruit trees as you can because they are awesome.

It makes me so sad that they broke up. It is clear that he cared more about finances than a steady relationship with his wife, now ex wife and also mother of his children. They both had different jobs to do, she was supposed to be the designer & he would try to take that over 98% of the time. Some people say that he let Christina choose most of the times - but that’s literally the point of her being there. She’s the designer... I have watched so many episodes and the way she smiles when she talks to him shows she really loved him. I feel for her. I feel like everything would’ve worked better if they both understood each other’s limits, their jobs descriptions, etc

Must give you two and your workers a tip of the hat, both thumbs up, high five, pat in the back, blue ribbon, and Remodelers of the Year level salute. Repeatedly, you take the impossible and make it magazine beautiful. And .. you aren't cheating buyers with white wash illusion of new.

One thing about single level homes with the great rooms is there's no place really to go when the kids have friends over. (We had a full, finished basement so the folks could do their thing and we teens could do ours.)

What's funny to me is most ppl that watch this show probably have a crappy kitchen. If Christina thinks that kitchen is from the 70s she may need to go back to design school. Interiors in the 70s had those classic colors like avocado, pale blue, burnt yellow and so on.

Probably- Like- with the people who lived there (and any of the houses) in that price bracket its always a WTH when they don't update anything the entire time they live someplace. Its crazyiness. Here in VA there are Million dollar homes that are like that and it just goes to show- no amount of money someone makes means they take good care of anything and they still don't have taste. Ive been looking at houses for almost 2 years now and I'm still shocked at how people can live all the way up to when they leave/move out its sad and crazy.
