- Habibati! Is this real??? I need to know! What did I just watch? This guy is incredible. If you guys have never heard of Dimash, you have to check out this freak of nature. I really had to go back and listen to the song 'SOS' because all I could focus on first time around was his voice.

I can't even begin to tell you how much of a superfan I am.
Dimash is a 26 year, 191cm (6'3") tall, old singer/songerwriter/multi instrumentalist from Kazakhstan. Located close to China & Russia. He speaks in 3 languages, sings in more than 12, and plays many instruments from piano to dombra. He has a masters degree in music composition and holds a degree for contemporary & opera performance. He's been singing since the age of 5. His parents are both musicians. His dad is a lyricist and his mom sings opera. He also is a very active young man and plays many sports. He has been known to enjoy swimming and has learned some of his breathing techniques from that. He rose to popularity because of the performance that you saw. Unfortunately you can't see how many views he has but that performance has over 1 billion views on various video platforms in China. He was the only non-Chinese competitor on the show and was put in as a wildcard even through the show had professional artists. His life basically changed overnight. Dimash also has a 6 octave range, getting closer to 7 now a days. Honestly the range isn't really what sets him apart as the world's best vocalist in my opinion. He's extremely versatile. He sings songs in all different genres/styles, sings with so much passion, and has unbelievable stage presence. Dimash calls his fans Dears because they are dear to his heart and if you continue this Dimash journey, I'm positive you will become one too :). His personality is infectious... watching outside interviews really shows you that is truly a one of a kind man by being humble. Truly a rare sight to see.
As far as to what to listen to next, he sings pretty much all genres. He incorporates many different styles (mostly classical) into different songs or covers. A lot of super-fans would suggest you watch the "evolution" of him from all his performances on The Singer series in China in 2017. I don't care about that personally so I would suggest something more modern for you like "Across Endless Dimensions". If you care to hear the most vocally life changing performance, I'd suggest "Sinful Passion". Feel free to subscribe to his official TH-cam channel!

Amazing Jeremy or I should say fellow Dear 💜 you did such an incredible job with this. Yes Dimash is such an incredible singer with a heart as big and beautiful as his voice. Humble, kind, generous, and loves his family his Dears, and has a soft spot for children as he showed when walking away from 1 million dollars leaving the awful show Worlds best as they lied to him about competing against children when they invited him to compete so when he learned this he graciously and gracefully stepped out of the competition to allow the 2 children to continue (1 of which was a young girl from Kazakhstan) I love to share this because I believe it shows not only his heart but his morality and values. He's just an all around incredible human being an angel on earth a gift from God as his name actually and very accurately means.

It's funny, when I first heard Dimash, I had a similar rant. He should never have to clean a toilet, or sew a button, or run to catch a train, or carry groceries, or balance a checkbook, or even learn to drive (unless he wants to). He should have an army of assistants that do everything for him so that he can spend every waking moment singing, preferably into microphone where it will be recorded for everyone to enjoy for all time. To this day I wonder who got the greater gift: him, or us.

You just bought a one-way ticket for the biggest vocal roller coaster ride in your life. You even can't imagine what is capable to do Dimash with his voice. He is just the greatest. The one and only on the planet. He is making some pretty 'extreme' music and breaking Music impossibility and all rules with his unbelievable vocal techniques and his more than 6 octaves. He sings whatever he wants in the way he wants to. And he always slays. We are all victims of Dimash. We are enchanted. We are all trapped in his incredible voice and charisma. The problem is - Dimash is a special human being too. Example? He was the favorite on the US TV show The Worlds Best. In the semifinals, he should have compete against two children. Dimash withdrew on the grounds that children always come first in his culture and that adults do not compete with them, but encourage them.

I'll tell you a bit, I discovered Dimash at the same time I was on The Singer program in China by chance because I was following the program. I never felt for any musician or singer what I feel with him.
I am 52 years old, I like many styles of music from AC / DC (I was in River when they came), opera, classical music, tango, etc. but with him it's amazing, so I understand you. He puts a lot of passion into his interpretation, he tells you a story in each song. If you have possibilities, I recommend that you look at his reports, you will discover a very humble being, with his feet on the ground. He does not believe himself a star, he knows he has a gift but he does not stay with that, he is super professional that is why he always continues to study and exercise with his teachers. He is super grateful to his family and to all those who ever taught him, and he says that he is simply the result of their work and effort and their dedication. He is very proud to be a Kazakh and his dream is to spread the music of the great Kazakh composers around the world. Let your audience join in the language of music without thinking about borders, cultural, political, etc. To a certain extent he succeeded because in his concerts you see people from different parts of the world, of different ages singing in languages that are not their own (Kazakh, Chinese, English, Russian, Italian, etc).
He is also interested in the music of other cultures. It always expresses the need for a world without wars and the importance that must be given to the happiness of children, with a more just world for all. He considers himself an ordinary young man who has the dream of many, with his defects and his virtues, that his followers believe him to be perfect, but he remarks that he is not, he is only a professional who works what he likes and thinks about giving happiness and thrill with his art, he considers that this is his way of contributing for a better future. His best songs for me personally are "love is like a dream" New wave 2019, "daybreak" at the bastau concert 2017 and "vocalise" at the kyiv concert 2020. All on his channel named "Dimash Kudaibergen" it has almost 950 K subs. Just watch all his videos hahaha. They are all masterpieces. He just finished his masters at the university and now is starting on his doctorate in music and composition. He gives to charity and always supports the growth of children. He is a muslim, but his major goal is for all human to Come to peace what ever Nation and culture and he want to do that through his music, to unite people. He is such a well spoken man for being 26 yrs old when most are partying and wasting their life. He never drinks or smokes. If someone is too good to be true, Dimash is one of those people.

I've seen tons of reactions to Dimash with people from all backgrounds, from average folks to opera singers, vocal coaches and other musicians. I have had a hard time determining the best reaction. There have been many great reactions to Dimash, from the most emotional to the most technical but this guy truly had the best reaction in my book. Too many reactors seem to shy away from just calling it like it is. I have always felt that, like Arab Man Reacts said, "Dimash is the next evolution in singing". With his technicality, perfect pitch, stage presence and vocal range he's better than all other singers, period! Finally a reactor just comes out and says the obvious. Exactly right, you can't compare him to other singers! Nuff said!

This tv show is nothing like AGT or any similar show in tbe West. This was a chinese show for highly respected, and famous professional singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan in Central Asia, so half in Europe and half in Asia, he is 6ft 3, 1/4 (191.4 cm) tall and was the youngest ever competitor here in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. His first album in 2019 went platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in an hour He is now a world class artist, still just turned 26 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, including the Barclays Centre in New York last December (tour is on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, has completed a Broadway Musical Masterclass and has now graduated his Masters Degree with Honours in music composition with a top mark of 100%, he is now doing his PhD in Musicology. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respecfully turned it down to persue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano in full head voice, , plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, a very elegant, well bought up young man. His Dears are his very loyal fans and we number over 114 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, he calls us Dears because we are so dear to him, just like his family. He has given much time, money, and support to multiple charitable causes. He visits old folks homes and hospitals in his spare time. He donates millions of dollars to many causes. The entire proceeds of one of his concerts was given to an organization that promotes young singers in Kazakhstan. Much of his charitable works are done without any fanfare or publicity. He never mentions it himself but the recipients of his kindness tell people about it and word gets out. Oh goodness, you are so wrong; he is not an asshole; he is a great human being! He is from Kazakhstan, where children are raised to be very respectful to their elders; he openly hugs his father after concerts and treats his mother like a queen. He recently gave 5 tons of food to some of his fellow countryman hurting during Covid. He is also quite spiritual and openly offers his Muslim blessings, and say that Allah gave him a gift and he is responsible how he uses it. He wants his music to unite the world, and so far he has done quite well in collecting his fans (called dears), from all countries and religions of the world.
You should listen to Opera 2 next, and let it run a while after the song is over ; you will then see him realize that his Dad is in the audience, (that was a surprise), and just jump in Dad’s arms and hug him; after having given an incredible performance.

He can sing Any style of music from Opera to Rap in 12 different languages all to top professional standard. I suggest you react to as many of his performances as you can, as they are all completely different but equally Mind-blowing. I am so happy that you have been "Dimashiffied" as we "Dears" say to everyone who is lucky enough to see and listen to our Beloved Prince Dimash. He is a Kasahj 26 year old ..who's artistic talented parents raised sorrounded by music and art since he was a baby. He finished his studies in the University of Kazakhstan and will have his Doctor degree on musicology in the near future..he has many talents ..plays several instruments..sings any genrae in more than 10 languages and can hit D8 or higher if he wants to. And yes..get angry because he is a sweetheart 😂✌

Both of Dimash's parents are professional singers so a little of his talent comes naturally but he is the hardest working vocalist I've ever known. He's been classically trained but likes to push the boundaries of his vocals. He terms his style of singing Neoclassical as he mixes classical tones with a myriad of genres such as Pop, rock and even rap! His ballads are my favorite but he literally sings all styles of music.
His musical training started at the age of 5 when he informed his grandparents that their piano was out of tune. He continues in music education to this day. I forget if he is at a Masters level yet.
Dimash sings in at least 12 different languages that I know of and plays at least 7 different musical instruments.
This performance was for a Chinese reality show called The Singer. The show only invites popular, established singers and they are overwhelmingly Chinese. Dimash was invited as a "dark horse" and came in 2nd. His only non first place outcome ever! This performance gained him 1 MILLION followers on Weibo (Chinese version of Instagram) over night and 6 million views!
