- Part 2 of 2 - The story of the decades-long pursuit of Bishop Peter Ball by the individuals determined to bring him to justice, and the cover-up that went to the highest levels of the Church of England.
RIP poor Neil. May these evil people rot in hell! How that monster only got 16 months for ruining so many lives and the others that colluded with him got no punishment at all is so unjust. As for “King” Charles, he has shown deplorable conduct on numerous occasions.

I have a feeling that this abuse is still being perpetrated by priests of all persuasions and another set of of coverups is taking place!
I think people nowadays are more informed when it comes to clerical abuse. The majority of the cases seem to be quite old. I do think most of the grooming nowadays comes from the Internet.

Yes, it's still going on, abuse is still normal, because it's a way of life in most so-called churches. If the spotlight is on sexual abuse, abusers just direct their abuse in different ways -- spiritual abuse, coercion, manipulation, denigration and alienation of anyone who speaks out, etc... all the same practices continue.

Everyone concerned in this case - those who participated in sexual abuse, and those who conspired in a cover-up - will one day have to give an account to Christ. I have watched both documentary's on exposed , I felt physically sick to my stomach and angry . How many lives have these disgusting evil pieces of poo destroyed. I feel so so sorry for these young people. The ones that came forward and to Neil Todd thank you for your bravery. I feel totally degusted with the so called royal family. In the past I have seen and read reports about them and how depraved they were. I have to admit that I thought a lot of information was far fetched. Well I guess we all know about royalty with Andrew being exposed in child exploitation with epstein.
Neil died because the establishment let him down. The Crown Prosecution refused to proceed even though the police had enough evidence. The Church and all his freemason friends support Ball. If everyone had done what they were supposed to do Neil would have testified in 1992 and would still be alive today. The case was really only solved by tenacious victims themselves prodding the authorities into action. Neil was failed by the very people tasked to safeguard him. May he rest in peace😔🙏
He has a twin brother Michael who’s was also a bishop and school master I believe he’s in his 90s I can’t even imagine how deep this goes, I also find it bizarre how the brother is never mentioned.

I was reduced to tears. I admire the bravery of those who came forward. I can't begin to imagine what poor Neil's family must be going through.
Born in 1962, I grew up in the Church of England as the son of a clergyman. My father was a randy vicar who could not keep his trousers on. Ultimately, he was run out of his parish and we were made homeless. Far from looking after us children as they looked after Ball, the church in the person of my brother's godfather, then Bishop of Norwich, wanted explicitly to sweep it all under the carpet. The church declared us to be the villains and sinners and has pursued us with unbelievable vindictiveness for forty years. Nothing of this ungodly institution can now surprise me...

I hear you. I think the issue at heart, world wide, really, is that this kind of aberration, in humanity, is not repairable. It doesn't cure up. These people need to be permanently isolated, on an island or something, away from the healthy people, for the remainder of their lives.

Peter Ball's sentence of only 32 months in jail is an insult to all his victims. Neil Todd suffered his entire life from what Peter and the Anglican church did to him which ultimately led to his death by suicide. They should be charged with negligent homicide and serve a much more severe prison sentence. When will our society recognize how devastating sexual assault is for victims and their families? Neil's family will now live a lifetime of pain not having Neil in their lives. It's just so incredibly sad 💔

Sadly, it is becoming more evident that there is a growing need for skepticism. In the U.S. I have become so concerned that there is not enough honest Law Enforcers to root out the law breakers in our government. Note the "president" encouraging Proud Sex Addicts by inviting and honoring "Drag Queens" into our white house (lit up in rainbow colors" ) and He sees no problem with butchering children before or after they're born. Our government has become a laughing stock (or worse ... crying stock).
Above all else this is the best advise for anyone watching..... Guard your children.

As a current C of E vicar, I have been told / asked to watch these documentaries by my "employers", i.e by the Church of England, during Safeguarding training, which is now obligatory for all Anglican vicars. I found the documentaries very disturbing to watch, but would recommend that anyone who is in Church ministry watches them. There is no room for complacency.
Especially since the now king of England is a pedophile himself.

How terrible that Neil's family must live through this! Neil is the very definition of a HERO. His efforts will help others and that's a beautiful thing, but it should not have had to come at the expense of his precious & irreplaceable life.

It's heartbreaking that Neil took his life. There is nothing worst I suspect for anyone who stands up to be accountable only to be shut down by the establishment. Let's hope Neil is now held by our heavenly father and ultimately found eternal peace.

Suicide is sometimes viewed as the highest form of self-preservation. Neil finally found a way to save Neil. The saddest thing of it all is that the family then becomes the living victims, who understand the pain that those left behind suffer so are unable to save themselves the same way. One only hopes that Peter Ball and his cohorts suffer greatly a long, long, long time in a very, very, very hot place.
Ruth: Neil ended his suffering. His family hopefully can understand. Not a thing they could have done to ease that pain. It is not their fault. These groomers have methods of abuse down to a Science.
I don't mean to sound rude, but I can see why we're taught that God doesn't want us to commit suicide. The reason being, that Neil did not deserve that ending. If only he could've held on. I am trying to understand why when they 'de-arrested' Peter Ball after he seemed so ill, they took him home instead of calling an ambulance or taking him straight to the nearest hospital. To me, this suggests that they knew he was manipulating them and did not call his bluff by taking him to hospital, but instead just took him home ... there is more to that I feel.

It is unbelievable that someone is convicted of multiple sadistic abuse of minors and receives a sentence on just 5 years in prison. This is unbelievable. Is shocking that Britain's justice system values these young people's lives so little.
My step grandfather abused myself and my brother, along with 33 other children (he was an army cadet commander, a major in the TA and ex-MI6).
He only got sentenced to 8 years in total. He was out in 4.
It's not uncommon for those who're connected, to get extremely lenient sentences and it's despicable.
As a Christian believer, it saddens me that so many evil people have done so much damage to so many people and to Christianity. No wonder so many hate us. No wonder so many churches, including the C of E are dying.
