Phil Saviano was abused and now runs the Survivors Network for those Abused by Priests, or SNAP. "We were performing sex on him... masturbation, oral sex... performing on the priest in the church". The problem for the Catholic Church world-wide is that it paedophile priests have been protected, rather than subject to civil law like anyone else. Bishop John Kinney admits that US priests haven't enforced their own rules on molestation.

Why would any parent take their child back to the church?
Evil and corruption only comes up to the surface every so often. The roots, however, go deep and blend in inconspicuously with the earth. These "roots" - are bible thumpers. They lay the ground work of the evil fanatics who want to bring about the bible-prophecy doomsday.
Parents take their children back to church for a combination of
A) Lack of education
B) Lack of introspection
C) Conservative views
D) A hatred of the "out group/other".
Therefore, kids get religion forced on them in the modern day. These kids will then grow up to perpetuate the same abuse on their own children.

The Catholic Church is the harlot described in Revelation 17. This system has held captive the minds and bodies of millions upon millions of people, even billions.
My father grew up with a fundamentalist Catholic mother, had priests and nuns in his family. He and one of his brothers left the church by the 80s. They despised the p3do situation, and they themselves had experienced something when they were kids.
When the church says "Deliver us from evil", who knew they were talking about priests, all the way to the pope. It's an atrocity.

All the way to the pope, not in the least the lie he is though to be. We ain't heard nuthin' yet. What a damned disgraceful disrespectful set up. All for them, nothing for the common person. NOTHING. A small low income town was expected to pay for some expense regarding sexual misconduct by the local priest, an extreme hardship for the people. And the vatican, which, of course, was not about to come forward, was 'sitting on' 34 quadrillion dollars worth of hoarded gold, not including the vatican's extreme wealth of other holdings there and certainly in America. The vatican even owned the land called District of Columbia, DC! Not any more!
I watched a whole documentary on the glories of the Catholic church going back years. There was ONE mention of a pope, the latest John, considered so nice and for the people, but were any of them? He was so fabulous he sold a tiara to help feed the hungry. The ONLY example, mentioned and llikely ONLY one found.
David Icke referred to a man in a million dollar hat talking about poverty. The vatican has contributed heartily to that, robbing the poor. All a dreadful centuries long farce but now it is OVER and will be known.

Why is no one in jail tho
Roman Catholic Canon Law stipulates that the civil power is a vassal and servant and protector of the church and cannot touch the pope or his priests, even for cause! Canon Law establishes the pope as "king of kings and lord of lords" and that the pope is the judge of every man and no man may judge the pope. That includes the pope's priests. No power on earth has power over the pope or his priests. The priests belong to the pope to do with as he pleases. No civil authority of any kind even has the authority to even cross the threshold of a Roman Catholic church or Cathedral without the permission of the local Roman Catholic bishop. No pedophile priest or bishop is jailed without the permission of the pope "holy see". The only time permission to jail a priest is given when it would cost the church more (money and public image) to keep him free than to let him go to jail.

For me being raised catholic was mostly a very negative experience: I remember being repetitively called wop, grease ball, mafia by my Satan in the flesh grade school principal and her routine beatings. My high school religion teacher and his 'private' consultations and openly watching us take showers after gym class. The scandal here in Pennsylvania that has mysteriously disappeared from the press and the media. Jesus Christ taught us that the absolute worst sin was hurting a child.

Protect the priests at all cost has always been the Church’s stance. They do not even care about the young people whose lives have been damaged in so many ways. Parishioners need to stand up and demand change. The church should never be allowed to police itself. It is too corrupt . My friend is now having an affair with her priest. It is out of control.

why is no one blaming these parents? I'm sorry but I've watched so many of these docs about the catholic church and you hear time after time these parents who are paid for their silence and then yrs later you see them on these docs bitching about the cover-up, but their part of the cover-up and I feel want more money if they were really that upset about the sexual abuse of their children they would've never taken the money. if my mother took the money instead of turning in my stepfather i would never forgive her. these parents should be prosecuted too, they knew a crime was committed and never turned it in. and I'm in no way saying the abuser isn't to blame bc they most definitely are, but the ppl who help with the coverup are to blame (parents) just like the higher ups in the catholic church.
