I bought a game THROUGH STEAM and before I can finish installing it I’m forced to install EA’s app which has a crashing installer on windows 11. EA I don’t want your junk app
For a minute there, it looked like you had solved my problem. I got more feedback, windows was asking me to give it permission, and the EA login screen appeared for half a second. But it's gone. And EA still will not boot. I can't count on my fingers how many times I have had to deal with Origin or EA not booting, breaking itself, in all the years I have been playing Mass Effect. Seems like the Legendary Edition is still trapped by the same BS that EA has still not improved over a decade. I can't wait until the day that Bioware rights get bought out by a publisher that actually gives a tiny bit of a F about their customers.
What if you have alot of Sims4 mods? If I delete everything it takes days to get everything the same again. If you only separate that folder from the sims and put it back later after the settings changed.. Then it goes well? (hopefully explained in good English)

One thing i did that worked was go to the computer storage click Uninstalle and it brings ea Uninstalle up with 2 options Uninstalle or repair click repair and it opens the log in type in your info to log in and bam logged in with the application open
I tried that it didn't work. The app is opened in the Taskbar and is blinking but when I click it it does not open it doesn't do anything. Repair, uninstall, reinstall, clear cache NOTHING WORKS for this stupid app. Fuck EA employees seriously. Epic works, steam works, ALL MY LAUNCHERS WORK BESIDES EA
simple trick to fix this whole problem quicker: just simply delete the EA app (The ea executive) then download the launcher (unless if you already have it) Then when in the launcher page, It will say you have the EA app already installed, but if you deleted the executive, (exe. file) dont click the run ea app button, click the repair button, which will take significantly longer, then the app will boot up normally in the login page, just simply login and it will boot up, Any games that required ea to boot up can now boot up, and the ea app will work normally
Could this work for the "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association with the Default Apps Settings page." Pop up? The EA app won't open, so i wonder if there's any connection or if this could help.
Unfortunately didn't work for me - the app just doesnt do anything? I cant uninstall it, nothing happens, when i click on it, nothing happens. When I first turn on my laptop its just a small white blank square. Not sure what else to try??
hey i found the solution okay, first do on google and search up download ea then download ea again. But when you go to install its gonna say already downloaded but there is gonna be an option that says repair hit that. Then it should launch a new ea then create an account or login thank me later
I dont even have the compatibility option & I literally cant uinstall the EA app or click on any of the property options because it keeps giving me an error message. The message keeps saying "Windows cannot find 'C:Program Files/Electronic Arts/EA Desktop/EA Desktop/EAUnistall.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I literally didn't do anything to the files, the game just broke by itself & whatever fix I'm trying to do my computer won't let me. I tried doing this other fix but it didn't work. Is there anything else I can do? Edit: my simple fix was to just repair the app from the EA app download website.
JediSurvivor why i can't open this game either online or offline and if the app doesn't exist it says i have to download it i downloaded it i registered successfully then i logged in successfully i tried online it doesn't work i tried offline me force me to put an app online why can't I find the older version version 8 that would have worked with this game but this one doesn't

Hello! I have a problem with the EA app. It won't launch Sims 4. I used to get the message "Some features have been disabled because the ea app launched from another application." I've tried every single solution on the internet. It's been two weeks and I still can't play. Reinstalled, repaired, recovered, reinstalled sims on Steam. Literally everything, someone please help i just want to play the one game I have. 😭😭😭
so i got the Error: 10500 and i did everything to fix it. nothing worked. reinstalled, repaired, restarted internet etc etc. Last thing i tried now that worked was to delete the Electronic Arts folder then launch the EA app and it worked.
the tricks from the video unfortunately didn't work for me, what worked was: manually deleting all the folders from the computer (maybe not even necessary), then launched the app installer downloaded from their site and the installer told me that the app is already installed, then clicked on repair and it was done, hope it helps someone

hello im having a problem were my ea app is saying I'm playing sims 4 but its actually never open so when i try to delete the app it doesn't let me bc it things I'm playing the game and i tried everting to close out the game but some how its just playing in the background pls help
@@guli7142 I had the same issue, if you open Task Manager and go to the background apps, find the EA running in the background and stop it. That fixed my issue, I was able to delete the file after!
Still not working for me 🥺 When I clicked the little up-arrow I did not get the EA icon Edit: sooo… What ended up solving the problem for me was restarting and updating my laptop. Sometimes it’s the simple solutions.
After update it crashed and now i cant launch EAapp. I have tried all methods, admin rights, firewall moves, full uninstalling with clearing register - its black screen when i should log in. Idk whats wrong with this company but its terrible. I cant play battlefield since 2023. No one method helps me =( RIP EA

@@guli7142 I had the same issue, if you open Task Manager and go to the background apps, find the EA running in the background and stop it. That fixed my issue, I was able to delete the file after!

I have an easier solution: when you are about to uninstall the app choose repair option and done, app working again
