Forget all the talk shows about health,Robert Martindale is the real deal, watching from the UK I feel privileged to be taught by him, a man about as intelligent, committed, and determined to educate us and cure the sick, as any man alive today. His knowledge, humour and lack of Political correctness are a breath of fresh air.Thank You Robert,I will take what I have learnt, spread it as far as I can amongst my friends and acquaintances and I know it will help me live a happier and much healthier life.

Well, this is just a part of the whole picture.
The fact is that the inflammatory processes are disrupted by our nutrition, most notably by the high insulin/insulin resistance induced by sugar intake.
There is a crosslink between the action of certain cytokines like the G(M)-CSF with insulin so that high insulin leads to a "hyperactive" immune system and thus disrputs the resolution of the inflammation.
This can be seen on COVID-19 and the cytokine storm caused by it where high insulin and insulin resistance plays a pivotal role.
So actually treating insulin resistance and hyperinsulinaemia through diet (e.g. by fasting or low-carbohydrate diets) may be much more important and effective than just fish oil...

I would like to know what Doctor Robert Martindale's opinion of lectins in plants is. What in his opinion are lectins roles in nutrition. Does he consider them When selecting diets for patients

    • @sectionalsofa

At around 25 minutes into the video he discusses the predominance of research supporting whole grain consumption for gut health and therefore general heath. Grains are high lectin foods. The ant- lectin movement is not scientific.

So my doctor had me stop all blood thinners before my eye surgery, most especially fish oil due to SOC protocol. I guess it’s to prevent post op bleeding. Is there a way to take fish oil pre-op without risking bleeding? I’m not even convinced that fish oil would cause post op bleeding so would be interested to know this as well.

  • @btudrus

I agree with most of what this doctor said but I'm not convinced with fish oil vs. olive oil. Olive oil is not that "neutral" as being taught. Especially if refined (which is sadly mostly the case today...)...

@A Dorable Low carbohydrate high protein high fat diet. Olive oil is neutral contains inflammatory compounds. Olive oil grown and very stressed environments has a very high concentration of these. Depending on practitioners training and point of view use virtually no red meat to use moderate amount red meat. Mtor in red meat increases probability of cancer.
