A while back I used this clear to re spray a bumper for a rental car my mom curb checked it and scraped it I did the body work and sprayed it with paint mixed up from paint store in a can with hardner then went over it with this clear had a few dry spray spots but came out solid not sure if it still looks good but enterprise didn’t say anything when she turned it back in lol

I make a good living as a contract cad designer but from the pain I can barely make it through 40 hours a week. My weekends are spent fixing the house, cars or now working on the Foxbody project but I would love to be able to pull in some extra income doing repairs to peoples cars. With having 5 cars I already have people stop and ask if I'm a mechanic! Nope all these shit boxes are mine 🤣
Used this to reclear a carbon fiber hood that I sanded a candy blue top coat off of. Lasted about 4yrs before I started to see it delaminate in some places
What is the plastic rolls your using. I've been trying to find fairly thin like that on a role. Tha KS for the video I've been experimenting with different clears on headlights. May try this for my personal vehicles. To expensive for one can per car. Also you being a body guy. Does that 2k work well for clearcoat touch-up?
I was just recommended this video. was there a concern with the wind? I can literally see the clearcoat going all over the windshields and possibly paintwork. is this an issue or would it just dry and be ok?
It is BEST to fully mask the car however in the weather we were in... The clear coat was drying as we were spraying it any over spray usually turns into dusts immediately.

@@speedokoterefinishnetwork4937 dealers pay for something like headlight polish and coating because it's cheaper than the cost of an employee. Love the paint can stuff but kinda wish there was better quality product being used

It's not super high quality clear. It's made for small touch upps. That's it

low buck "good enough" repairs for what you are doing is the only way to go imo,its not like they are show cars
It's super low solids. This clear has a good shine but is only 25-27% solids and will bubble up if you lay it on to thick
