In 2035 I’ll be 55, in 2034 I’m going to go out and buy 4 brand new petrol bikes and garage 3 of them, when one breaks I’ll just get one out of the garage. I reckon if the 4 bikes last me 20 years then I’ll be 75 before I need to buy an electric one 😂. I’ve got nothing against modern tech at all, in fact I have just ordered the electric mustang for my car. But I just have a different feeling with a bike, it is the whole sensory experience, the feel, sound, up and down the gears, the freedom to stop in a field in the middle of nowhere with no charging point in sight. I can see their place for commenting and city riding, but doing a europe tour or NC500 and having to plan your stops is what puts me off, I’m not the best planner, I like to see where the day takes me. Top video and editing as always, great work 👌
Thank you so much for watching and for this awesome comment. It’s a great idea to buy 4 new bikes in 2034 😂 you certainly do have a good point, I’d hate to plan a tour on an electric motorcycle, it will certainly be interesting to see what exactly the rules are in 2035
@@TheRhythmicBiker keep up the good work, this is turning into a great channel. If you ever see any bikes on my channel you’d want to feature then let me know mate, we have a massive selection of bikes between us all. I’m riding a HS2 this coming weekend and maybe a couple of Harley’s as well, if you want them and the owners to feature let me know 👌
Wow what a cracking insight to Epower motorcycles, thank you Supreme for the enjoyable watch...and another thank you to Rythmic Biker and Ceb for taking the time to produce another great episode...👍
Good to hear a review of an eleccy bike and another cool guest, keep it iup peeps. But sometimes people just don't see things the same way, I never saw engine parts fall off a Bentley or RR 🤣
Great interview! The livewire is a looker. I checked out the Ducati Zero last week in person. I’m not ready for electric personally but there are more and more of them coming out on the horizon. Technology changes so rapidly and 3 years from now they will be vastly improved.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting mate. I haven’t checked out the Ducati Zero yet but it’s on the to-do list. The future will definitely be a lot of change, but I hope it’ll be a gradual progression, an ease into electric bikes, otherwise I feel a lot of riders will just never come around to the idea.
Electric Bikes are definitely going to be a big part of the near future. But honestly, I'm in no hurry to get one. At least not until battery life and infrastructure improve. Great guest and once again, great video!!
Fantastic Guys D J Supreme what a top guy great watch and although I am not a believer in this electric dream the bike is I reckon one of best looking electrics on the market .To expensive yep and in my opinion not long for this world but ya have be impressed that it exists . Gotta say also a biker is a biker be he or she of whatever ethnic origin we stand together nothin more ta be said on that . luved it : ) Cheers guys
He certainly was a top bloke and a great guest. It’s definitely a topic of interest, I’m looking forward to hearing all the different opinions on electric motorcycles. Well said at the end as well, together we are a family, no matter what differences we may have, we’re all bikers, brothers and sisters 🤘
Good interview and cool production. Unfortunately, one stat that needs to be addressed is that charging from 0-100% at a fast charger is about an hour (not 3-4 hours) at a DC fast charger and 40-45 minutes to 80%.
15 years is a long time, we will have at least 2 or 3 changes in Gov in that time who will possibly u turn on this, new technologies will come along that maybe put electric out and we may simply have complete bans on cars etc In many places. I have a few ebikes and believe micro mobility combined with good public transport is the way forward but as of right now I would love a fast electric motor bike and the livewire is ace for short fun journeys but at over £20k it's too rich for my blood. Infrastructure and cost of fast charging makes it questionable for anything other than local rides filling up for cheap home electric though. But we are living in exciting times, just hope the world doesnt fall apart too much too quickly before these changes happen. It's not saving the planet though yet, the old bikes that these replace will be ridden by other people so continue to pump out toxic fumes for as long as petrol us available.
I dont believe in mandatory transition to electric. I am a capitalism mantality. Make it and see if people buy it. Manufacturers should invest in making MPG increase and see if we can get a 1000 cc motor to 120 MPG in 12 years. On the sound issue. My home theater is amazing. Lets put some 10 inch woofers in the side panels.! 😂. One on each side. And a tweeter where the horn is. Maybe its just me. Agree, 4 wheel motorists might need more driver aids, but the driver aid have only made 4 wheel drivers lazy. They depend on those aids and not want to blame it when it goes wrong. Its a blame game today. Manual transmissions need to have a come back, and i am not talking about paddles. Three pedals on the floor. PS, we can put a 12 inch woofer under the pillion seat if you know what i mean. Yep, i always have to destroy my opinions.
