If you ever question his greatness, just take a look at the scoreboard during most of these plays. He had to make these plays to be a winner so he just did it and made it look so easy. The left handed corner shot and behind the backboard shot were especially impressive to me.

If there was just a couple plays like these you could write if off to luck, but I watched him in a game in person back in the mid 2000s, they were hanging all over him and he was drilling them. He is one of those players that is still accurate under a lot of duress.

I mourn the future that he didn't have, nor his daughter, nor the other victims of the crash. So much potential lost.

Here’s the thing about Kobe. If you actually WATCHED him play then he’s undeniably one of the 5 greatest players to ever play the game. If you are a stat freak that only looked up numbers than you will put him outside the top 5 maybe top 10. Numbers don’t tell the whole truth and I was lucky enough to see his greatness live. He’s the GOAT imo, I haven’t seen a player as great as Kobe, respectfully I wasn’t born wen Jordan, magic and Bird were in their primes

When he died, my entire family was visiting, and I was outside smoking a cig, messing with my phone when I read the news.
