      I witnessed it at a Cavs watch party in CLE and I’ll never see anything like it again. The entire city lost their minds, yet in a peaceful way.

    Man that Horry 3 is grilled into my brain from watching that live when I was like 8-9 years old. I remember screaming at the top of my lungs when that happened. I don’t know what it is about the three peat lakers, but those playoff and finals games were on another level of high stakes and so damn fun.

      it should have been the kings. Lakers are great and Kobe was a goat, but the Kings should have gone to the finals that year, not the Lakers. The refs were so obviously bought or told to make the Lakers win.

    All of these videos are great, but (I think because of the catering to the online audience) they sometimes really emphasize the past 7-10 years. I'm 2 minutes into this one and it's already showed iconic 80s and 90s stuff, probably lesser known to some fans (Grandmama's four point play, the astonishing Ralph Sampson shot). This is just a next level compilation.
    EDIT: Not only did they add stuff from the 70s (pretty much everything I'd expect except maybe Havlicek stealing the ball or Gar Heard), but they nailed the last three plays too. This is the best highlights channel on TH-cam.

    The one thing I find great about the Toronto one that’s unique to the pretty much the rest is that only until after the buzzer finishes buzzing do the all fans erupt to the shot falling, during the whole time the buzzer beeps it’s literally as silent as an empty gym for about a second cause everyone’s just watching the ball bounce on the rim and thts all you hear in tht second with practically not a peep in the background other than the buzzer and ball bouncing on the rim it’s sick

      I don't get why the Wizards stint is not counted to his legacy and yet it is counted in his all time scoring... Without the Wizards points, he would have been only at 29K+ points because he scored atleast additional 3K points in his Wizards stint and instead of being in 5th all time, he would have been at 9th all time in scoring...

      He signed a 2mill for 2 year dirt cheap deal to play for the wizards in 2001 after getting involved in the team front office. Also, he donated his entire 1 mill paycheck in 01 to the 9/11 relief program. He wasnt playing for his legacy for those 2 years. He knew he was already solid

    As someone who’s born in 2000 and doesn’t remember much of NBA before 2010, Kawhi’s ECF shot and Kyrie’s 3 over curry are the most clutch playoff shots I have seen live

    I played ball up to college level but what separates the top players from everyone else is being able to handle clutch situations. If the game was very tight I would get tense and nervous while some guys could just play better. Basketball is about being able to handle that two minutes at the end when the game is on the line. I remember once throwing up during a time out due to the pressure it's an immensely stressful sport so the guys that can make the big plays at the end deserve all the respect in the world.

    I had no idea that the Bird steal was right after a blown call by the refs, who then tried to immediately get the ball back in play. Similar to the terrible first down call that led to Clowney blasting someone's head off and recovering the fumble on the very next play

    As a lifelong Heat fan who grew up on Uconn basketball (Ray was my favorite player), his "shot heard round the world" gives me chills to this day. I was watching it with my dad when it happened and we wen't ape shit, started hugging and jumping up and down screaming so hard we fell over 😂
