He's also a very precise and heavy execution hero so don't feel bad. He's not easy to be good with.
He jumps in out of nowhere, destroys your supports, and gets out almost for free.
And then your teammates bitch at you for not healing them.

@@jptrady1997 both actually. You need an insane Ana to counter an average Doom. She has no movement abilities, and her weapon isn't hitscan (without being scoped in), sleep has a projectile velocity o 2m/h.
Cotillion master/gm Ana’s always save sleep or nade for doom but zen truly can’t do anything against a doom like if a doom dives you as zen you can only try to dmg him but you’re 100% going to die, with Ana tho you can sleep and nade to heal up if you get slam uppercut its not easy but still possible unlike zen who can’t do shit about it lol

Doom is like spy from TF2, he’s not about consistently getting kills it’s those moments when you do get kills that make him so fun to play

Do you think that in a game like overwatch an fps hero based game, it’s fair to insert a character who can basically one shot you with a single combo and get away before you can even realize that he was hiding in the rooftops exploiting game physics? I don’t think that’s fair ahahahah.

Rewatching this when Doom's changed into a tank has made me realise just how much I'm gonna miss him as a dps, to me he felt like the hero who interacted with the map the most and made Overwatch pretty damn enjoyable, whenever I was feeling it I'd switch to Doom and practice sausage rollouts or focus the enemy Ana, now it feels like I get bullied every time I play him as tank. It's a shame that such a fun and interesting hero is really hard for the devs to balance, so having him as a tank with less bugs might be for the best, but damn am I gonna miss the old Doom.
