The worst part about this is that you can report a cheater and never get an update about them being banned. Meanwhile you can report a dude for saying "butts" in chat and get an update about a ban/silence in less than 12 hours. bro you could say anything and still get banned got perma in 2020, i just started playing again very recently but won't buy anything of course, as your account does not belong to you
i bet it was turned off when blizzard bought activision. Activision lets cheaters into their games and does nothing to ban em. They even make a anti-cheat in-house because they were probably gonna get sued one day if they didn't make an anti-cheat that only works 1/10th of the time.
With the release of the new Tornado Cassidy skin, we've decided to pull it from the store and not issue any refunds. As we found this skin to cause too much distress between certain groups of our community. And we wish our best to those effected by Tornados and to the Homeless. Please give us more money in the future.
Yeah me and and like 4 other players reported a widow who headshoted everyone nonstop all game while 360 spinning nonstop, I told him he cheats because he has no life he threatened to report me. The next day I got a 30 day silence for "disrespectful communication". I never got a notification he was banned. They literally prioritze swearing over cheating. Idk what to even say its sad to see what the game has become, I dont wanna leave it but I just feel so alienated from the game and its community that I just cant enjoy it anymore. Its worse than Valorant, they are trying to market towards kids with microtransactions to make money off them. Its gross and I cant stand it.
Never talk to them, just report. I played Sombra and a Widow decimated our team, she got me out of invis, always knew when i was behind her etc. just report and move on. I got "Thanks for reporting" messages like 3 times a week, cheating is quite common nowadays.
Us brothers from the tf2 community understand the pain, and stand with you. Recently fps games having problems with cheaters feels like just another wednesday. It's a fucking epidemic and feels like no one is doing shit about it.
Theres not much they can do, anti-cheats are always left playing catch up with the cheat makers, only long term solution would be making it mandatory to connect your passport to your account like in some countries but that's probably never happening.
They've gotten worse recently yes, but it has been happening for the past 6 years or so. A year ago, it was suspected by using number of players bans, and interviews with cheat sellers, that 20-30% of players cheat to some capacity, with maybe 10% actually ever getting caught and banned. Some games like Tarkov and dead by daylight have objectively higher percentages of cheaters, but in general, cheating has been blowing up in the past year or so. The new Ubisoft game Xdefiant was full of cheaters in less than a week of its release. Until you can bind an account or several accounts (3-5 maybe) to someone's personal ID, there is very little that can be done to combat cheating, at least until AI anti cheats are ready to go, and even then, the AI anti cheats would have to have a high detection rate, or it wouldn't matter, because as it stands, about half of cheaters never get caught, and when they do, they just make new accounts and buy new games. Blizzard tried to tie accounts to phone numbers, but you can literally pay $5 a month for an app that can generate a phone number and accept and receive sms messages for account verification. I did a free trial of one of these apps using blue stacks to basically have an android phone on my PC, and used the new number to make an alt account, as my main account is tied to my real phone number. So yeah, until you can tie accounts to a person's ID or temporarily to their parents ID, you can't real stop someone form cheating who has the time and money to do so.
Spin botting not being detected instantly has always blown my mind. Are there times when people crank their dpi and spin around for the lols? Yes but they aren’t one clipping people at the same time.
That's what is so infuriating! I can see not auto banning people without a review, but at the very least they should have something in place to flag these games and then someone can take the 5 minutes to go in and see that they are cheating and ban them and their duo partner (yes the partner should be banned too). The fact that these two made it to top 500 without a ban is just sad.
idk what u mean, I used to pull out my 50 call in MW2, Crank that bitch 9million degrees in 1/156th of a second and empty the clip, 1 tapping the entire enemy team and my own in the process. It's really easy anyone can do it smh.
For real. I’ve dabbled in game programming and game design, nowhere near at a professional level, but I understand briefly of how to make an anti cheat for a video game such as overwatch. And from watching game devs break downs of how to make a good anti cheat… overwatch is looking at a worse than mediocre indie-game anti cheat. I don’t understand why they don’t have just people also managing looking through games and servers of mass reports. Valorant and a bunch of other esport games have them. It’s cheap man power and gets your gamers to actually want to play the game.
@@pepziifroztgamer6102 I have reversed their anti cheat and they actually have some really strong obfuscation techniques, that combined with their unique engine makes creating cheats for this game pretty hard. At least thats how it used to be in ow1, now there is much more public information about the engine available and most of the anti cheat hasnt had any significant updates in years. Since its not kernel a skilled dev can also just turn it off. I dont know why they dont even have some basic server side angle checks to ban spinbotters tho.
You're severely understating the difficulty of detecting cheats. If cheats are going undetected for extended periods of time, then they're already almost certainly paid-for cheats by default - otherwise they would just be detected and hit in a ban wave off of signature detection alone. If people are paying for high end cheats, especially private cheats, then they're probably hardware cheating - which is incredibly challenging to detect, and has only very recently been making any headway into detection. But as always, the cheaters can find any number of vulnerabilities or workarounds to dodge the anticheat, while the anticheat has to spend a lot of time figuring out how they're doing it and developing novel solutions.
This is some actual “the games on maintenance mode” shenanigans. Like, I stopped playing months ago, but to me this just looks like Blizzard has a skeleton team doing just enough to keep the money printer - I mean game - alive.
literally what I think. i quit playing in season 3 because even then it seemed like the game was on the verge of dying that quickly in. I've sort of kept up with it to see if anything made me want to go back but I'm just being more and more reassured that I made the right decision to leave.
Weirdly I get the "Thanks for your report, player has been banned" notification really often from reporting people in my Plat lobbies. I wonder if it's more of a thing that they are assuming high ranked accounts are safe for some reason, or if there is some other protection going on, or they simply are prioritising the low ranked players over top 500. But I agree this is really fucking embarrassing, I see literally 0 reason they can't flag replays where their account is getting 99% headshot accuracy, or flag people who are spinning that fast for manual review where someone with a big of brain can manually ban.
Blizzard haven't done anything manually for years. Are you going to pay a half dozen people 100,000 a year to sit in a California office and watch video game replays? Neither are they. Their bonuses are tied to profits. Until people uninstall the game and stop playing, they aren't gonna do shit.
Oh that's lovely, i reported multiple people for putting the nword in chat and voice chat and got nothing, i typed 'ffs why do people always overextend' and played lucio in qp and my teammate didn't like it and got a 2 week suspension. Seems fair.
Funny thing about the spinning thing. Today in a quick play the entire lobby started spinning all of a sudden before the march even started so there's that. It stopped in a few seconds but it might cause problems with banning the spin
Flats talking about the selling accounts thing in overwatch is actually more common than I expected. Does anyone remember how ssniperwolf got boosted back in the day? she didn't get high rank by herself, she had someone else play for her, and that's like better than cheating imo just because that means someone at least had skill (even if it wasnt her)
Console is not even safe either, there's been a massive influx of ximming on console. It's actually not even funny, like it doesn't matter where you go comp, quick play, arcade, and even custom games. It's actually just insane
Every single common hack like aim Botting, sights/walls, spinning can be tied back to a character ult. Aimbot: Visor; Walls: Widow Ult; Spin: Reaper Ult; Speed/Reload: Kiri Ult etc. there's something allow people to omnipresent have ult effects.
ive also noticed that theres more and more people who will refuse to play the game if you play a character they dont like, the other day i had a support duo that got mad at me and my group for messing around in quickplay as doom, widow, and sombra (me), and they talked trash in chat saying "youre not getting heals until everyone gets serious" when the game hadnt even started yet, we were literally sitting in spawn waiting to go to point and they completely ruined the game, we physically could not do anything no matter how the three of us swapped or changed our attack patterns
I had multiple games where my supports outright refused to heal me for playing Bastion (I had gold guns for him since I mained him in OW1). Honestly was a big factor in me not playing OW2 anymore.
it also feels like sometimes you get punished for not countering or going the right hero. i play with my gf really casually rn in qp and its so miserable. i really try and play for fun but to even get any value or do anything i have to try so hard to kill stuff and stay alive. support is so stressful in qp making us not want to ever play it. and you still get countered constantly as tank. dps you have to counter the tank so they arent a raid boss. game feels worse than its ever been, it has been progressively feeling worse and i genuinely believe overwatch 1 was never like this at any point. sure, we got the same old same old but i never felt like i desperately had to switch. im not fucking dafran or top 500 players, how good i have to play into is exceedingly more difficult esp since my team in casuals dont play around me. i really wasnt a 6v6er but i genuinely think 5v5 irreversible broke the game
I had a game yesterday when the Mercy was pocketing the Lifeweaver and only healing each other while the rest of the team had to deal with Winston + Genji in the backline without any heals. The LW started the game by pulling the tank into their entire team after rushing to them like our tank was backing off to get healed since they had like 100 health and LW just pulls the tank into the team... it happened to me as well like wow, I just don't get why people troll like that. The experience ruined the game for us and even the other team was like "What is happening?" everyone agreed to report them and they afk'd the game but at that point we just let the other team push. Nothing will happen to those two, the blatant aimbotters that have literally bragged about it in chat that I reported a while ago are still playing. OW2 is literally the only game all my friends will get together to play so we just have to deal with it.
I'm D2/D1 and had a Rein tell me before the match began to swap off Lucio or they were going to not try. I thought they were joking but they typed an essays worth in chat about how it wasn't enough healing and the speed boost was only useful for running out of spawn. Like holy.
I was in Vulture's (Sewerrat) stream when this cheater was stacking with people and running rampant. They were in THREE of his games and one of them was more memorable than this clip. Route 66, the cheater was winning by a landslide on attack. Vulture and Mace (his duo at the time) were joking about "activating their cheats", but the tank on their team was like "ok" and left the game, THEN CAME BACK WITH ACTUAL AIMBOTTING CHEATS AS ORISA. So it was a cheater versus cheater battle, but this spinbotter remained victorious with a pocket mercy. Truly a game of all time Also on another note, we weren't aware that the Pharah in this clip was actually hard cheating as well. He was locked onto Vulture the entire time and calling him deplorable things. What an actual loser
There's been a steady increase in the kind of shameless cheating you can spot on a killcam since Blizzard announced their plans for the comp rework during S9. I was getting tons of those "thanks for reporting" screens throughout S9 and S10 before I burned out on sending in reports with replay codes and timestamps of whatever was sus. At one point I was seeing so many suspicious players in my games (on red OR blue team) that I wondered if Blizzard had some kind of system that matches suspected cheaters with players who have a high rate of confirmed reports to test the quality of the other reports. Is the reporting system overwhelmed? Does banning fewer cheaters make Blizzard more money when a threshold percentage of players tolerate it? Are cheats harder than ever to detect? Did Blizzard underestimate how much this problem would grow when they switched to a free-to-play model?
Answer is probably yes to every one of those questions. Blizzard (and most video game companies running a competitive multiplayer game) probably have calculated a point where they think a player's cheating impacts others players too much and banning them would have a positive impact on Blizzard's revenue. Choosing to switch to a F2P model automatically means you underestimated how much it would increase cheating, because if you didn't you'd never have made the switch. And the biggest thing is probably the cheats are harder than ever to detect. Cheat makers have become, very, very good at what they do. Cheating has become scourge on all competitive multiplayer games. It's an arms race where I've yet to see a single game where the developers are winning. I think at this point the only way to fix it is to, rather than trying to detect all cheaters, which doesn't seem possible, design games in ways that reduce the incentive to cheating. I can't see that happening, though, as those things that incentivize cheating are also what drives the monetization model for these games.
cheaters are such a systemic issue with basically all multiplayer games right now that doesnt get talked about enough. if its not fixed it could lead to the death of the online multiplayer game
Cheaters not getting perma banned but saying youre team is ass results in getting the perma ban? Crazy that a multi million dollar company is this shit at caring for the player base with the fhings they do
This is why I hate online fps shooters now. There’s such a problem with loosers cheating cause it’s the only kind of attention they get at all is by ruining others games until they say something I chat
I’ve played a couple matches a few weeks ago (masters) with a cheater. It got to a point where we’d get into a lobby and everyone would start the game on match chat calling him out, he’d then proceed to fake disconnect and accuse other people of making his game crash? A friend of mine added him and the guy outright admitted to using cheats and yet still no notice of his account getting chopped. Great job blizz
7:35 I feel so pure and innocent, how tf does spinbotting work i always assumed that they were full spinning but when they primary fire'd it auto locked the closest head to the mouse
Tbh i think integrity in FPS games in GENERAL has gone down the shitter. There's no sportsmanship anymore, just ego, anger towards others, and doing whatever you can to claw up all the little points possible, since """big number = better person"""
@@clickrush yeah but i feel like it's been worse though? Especially since things like OWL and VCT got big, now everyone thinks they're the next TenZ yunno
Agreed it has gotten pretty bad I do miss when people at least slightly cared about sportsmanship and being kind to each other but its just sad how non existent it is now
Honestly all MMO's are like that now, they all have metrics that people love to touch themselves to because it makes them feel validated in their lives. Which isn't an entirely bad thing, but when it becomes such a major issue or addiction to some it just brings the worst out of people.
Streaming has ruined gaming. Streamers, specifically pro players that stream, all have massive egos and build these festering piles of dogshit as their community. Happens all the time in fortnite, valorant, and overwatch. These players constantly shit talk, and in overwatch and valorant's case, sit out of voice and constantly shit talk their teammates as well. So young impressionable people look at someone that's amazing at the game be incredibly toxic and egotistical so they mimic that behavior thinking that that'll make them better.
The simplest of cheat detection methods would be able to detect someone spinning at 3000rpm and hitting their shots. They aren’t banning them because they don’t want to. Some executive has a spreadsheet showing active users as a metric to their performance and has made the decision that it is more profitable to allow this to happen.
I have had a few matches in silver where first round we hose it - the opposing Cassidy or Soldier is getting owned. Round two, all of a sudden, they play like they are in GM. Headshot every time and going from 0 elims, 8 deaths, to finsihing round 2 with 20 elims and maybe 9 deaths.
14:40 I recently had a match with a friend of mine and all of our team mates left the competetive match pretty early on. My friend and I were alone and we agreed to draw with the enemy team. The last round started and we had to trust the enemy team not to get on the point, to make it a draw and they didn't... except for the last few seconds, where their Sombra suddenly decided to kill me and get the point, after around 15-20 minutes of waiting for the rounds to be over. This is the second time now, that this has happened to me and it made me so mad, that I have not touched the game since. Also, next to the cheaters, I experience an EPIDEMIC of leavers in competitive matches. So many, that it feels like we have a 50/50 chance of running into cheaters or leavers, which Blizzard punishes you for.
I was wondering why anyone in their right mind would spinbot and it was hard to find answers but basically: 1. Its only server side that the spinning happens, meaning everyone else sees that but the hacker themselves are moving normally. Flats mentioned this in the video, client side is completely normal. 2. I got conflicting reports on whether it helps aimbotting since youre spinning constantly. From what i can tell, normal aimbot can do this fairly easily. We have seen aimbotters quickly snap behind to shoot someone. 3. Interesting take that sounded like it is the intention, but it also makes your model harder to hit. Kinda pointless on overwatch tho but but maybe for tactical shooters this might work better. The fact that’s only server side makes me think this, and if you notice, spinbotters also look down all the time. If it was for aimbotting, rhey would he spinning while looking slightly up or at normal level. But they’re purposely making their head hitbox harder to shoot. 4. Finally, the main reason, just to piss people off. There might not even be any practical reason to spinbot, but it seems so oddly specific and hackers can use other egregious methods to make people angry.
in a diff game (i can’t remember which 😭) the spin botting did make the model harder to hit. overwatxh isn’t like that, but the people creating these cheats basically just copy and pasted it into overwatch. now, it’s more of a rage bait thing. getting killed by an aim bot is annoying, but one that’s spinning is even more annoying.
@@kammacat its counterstrike. in counterstrike there is a cheat called anti aim which basically spins so fast it desyncs the hitboxes, so where the player's head is visually actually has no hitbox and the head hitbox is actually somewhere else entirely.
I couldn't figure out why, when playing Mercy and hiding behind walls but getting one shot the INSTANT my head came around a corner, getting bursted down while flying like a crackhead during moth, etc. Basically never being able to heal anything! Cheaters. Cheaters is why. That or the other team going 40 and 0 while our team is 5-4.
in south america we are having also a MASSIVE amount of de-rankers. Last sunday i played for a while and i would say that most of my matches had at least one deranker, either in my team, the enemy or both... afk in spawn, emoting in their backline, jumping off the edges of the map... like, pretty obvious de-ranking players and if it was like in idk... 4/10 matches?... how many are doing the same but in a more stealth manner..? things that one cant see inmediatly while trying to play the game.... things are getting bad and i would bet its because of how harsh are qp penalties... people used to leave matches in qp because... they wanted to... but now that they get MORE punishment from leaving qp than comp, there is no reason why not to play comp.
The fact that there are so many in QP and arcade too is ridiuclous, we're not even safe there. Also, how disgusting of the team to back these cheaters up with actually trying to win and heals.. they all should be reported.
I actually ran into these guys also on stream when they were making their way up through masters. He was hanzo but my Winston was no match for him and we somehow won. Lost the replay during the update 😭
There has been a wave of recent cheats that run independantly on seprate systems and can spoof being a regular HID peripheral granted the spin botting make it obvious visually, but since no software runs on the same system that runs the game, the internal anti cheat measures will fail to detect it 100% of the time they are looking for markers that these kinds of cheats won't produce. Unless you report them, no action will be taken. And obviously being free to play lowers this barrier to entry even more.
@@rapidwaterwolf1just one? Not the main reason Valorant has like cheating discords up to 50k~ people in them? And that they got fucking day 1 cheats in?
Like I’m actually getting to the point where I don’t even want to stream this game anymore. I’m so serious as when I say that they’re so focused on the future of Overwatch that we have literal problems right in front of us and we can’t even solve them. It’s crazy… I love this game but damn
I’ve gotten more confirmations on players getting punished for toxicity (aka slurs in chat or other chat related no nos) than confirmations on players who are hardcore cheating it’s nuts
ya same I basically always get the thanks for reporting message on startup because I report toxicity on a hair trigger. a couple days ago I actually had an obvious cheater (widow player, I was sombra, first point I was absolutely bullying them, then after we won first point suddenly they always knew exactly where I am when invis and even headshot me out of invis from like 30m away once) and reported that, and by some miracle there were no toxic players to report that playsession, next day on startup: nothing
Generally speaking, companies wait a few weeks for cheaters to build up, then they go on a ban wave and add code to protect the game. They are trying to hurt the business of the cheat makers who suddenly get tons of refunds and no clue what got their cheats caught. It's a battle between the cheat makers and the devs.
That doesn't apply to accounts that should get manually banned for being blatant. You want to compile subtle indicators of cheating and ban all those accounts at once to hide whatever indicator you found, manually banning blatant spinbotters does not run the risk of exposing vulnerabilities that the devs have patched. You could still make the argument they want to attack the cheaters Financials, but the QoL impact of sitting on these accounts is completely unjustified by that imo.
@@andrewkvk1707as true as this is, we're talking about Blizzard. So its more like they dont care and put everyone into the same slot of "wait until banwave"
I'm only really familiar with the Anti-cheat bans of Jagex on Runescape. They can do those mass bans because their impact isn't so direct for player enjoyment - PvP autoswitching and stuff as the exception. But for a game like OW where the cheaters are immediately affecting the other players because it's all PvP - it's hard to justify waiting. That's players getting fed up and leaving the game/taking a break in real time as a result, rather than some economy issues from botters farming gold. Won't really see players taking a break from Runescape just because they see a stack of bots crafting runes and stuff. I think it's better for the health of the game to ban blatant cheaters immediately, and the sneakier ones can be held off because they're the insidious ones that are trying to hide (and for more evidence, because sometimes you just pop off and getting banned for that would SUCK.)
I had a hard locker in a quick play game the other day and also never got a response for the report. Initially my widow called it out in game but I called bs and went to see the replay and they were indeed hard locking even through walls.
No because this is such a serious issue I'm seeing across the board. I've been playing Bronze - Plat and have had MULTIPLE issues. I had two games in a row have actual bots in my comp games and my silver lobby DPS players are WAY too good to be in silver. I want to genuinely climb and get better but when I'm getting either bots or cheaters, the games are ruined. If it's not those, it's leavers and it has been SO much worse the past couple weeks
Super true. I have been on massive losing streaks, either because of smurfs/cheaters, but even more because of leavers. I lost 5 games in a row: 3 of them, because of leavers. The fourth was because of and afk life weaver and the fith just because the enemy team was better. I legit think I could have climbed, if I didn't have leavers or smurfs in every second game.
@@Dr.Belububub It's frustrating because I went all the way down from diamond to gold on support. Two whole elos. I'm struggling to maintain gold now because every other game is like that. On DPS I went from gold to bronze and even in bronze, there are people who don't belong in that elo down there. No singular player in bronze should be 56 and 3 and still be bronze. It just sucks and I wish blizzard cared more. That and the report system is so awful. I've been suspended for being reported because I even dare speak or tell someone their wrong, yet my 'friends' who have told people to unalive themselves have yet to face any consequences.
@@alyssat2521 That just sucks so hard. I am also confused by Blizzards way to take actions agains insults. They obviously didn't face any consequences yet, if they dare to say things straight out of hell. When I first got a rank, I was Gold 2. I personally quit the game and got back to Divinity original sin 2 lol
Worst part is their team actually continuing to play the game. If you have a cheater on your team in comp, you are scum if you keep trying to win. Zero integrity.
I don't get it. I maybe got one cheater a month since overwatch 2 released, until about a few weeks ago. But for some reason none of them get banned, I always report but I haven't gotten the message that someone got banned ever.
Was waiting for someone to mention qp. Pretty sure I had a cheater in a silver qp lobby the other day, Mercy pocketed Cass player with a strange name and never missed a shot. Thought I was crazy because why would you waste that on quick play??
The amount of cheating in lower ranks is absolutely insane. Too bad there isn't a legal fine attached to using cheats in online gaming for the person doing it or their legal guardian. This problem starts with the parents.
Pain Sometimes i just want to leave a match and not deal with it anymore as i have had enough,no one works together and combining that with a ximmer... what am i supposed to do :(
At least you have hope seeing as blizzard addressed it and said that this upcoming season should sort out most of your problems. They haven't said shit or done anything about pc cheaters
i never understood whats the point of ximming but anyway... they're a big problem added to cheaters leavers, dr-rankers, throwers... I play and lose match, after match, after match, remaining stuck in a rank or degrading.... and yet gamers on the enemy squad have the audacity to call me a smurf or sum bc im just good for the rank i'm in... don't know what to do tbh

Thor explained this phenomenon, basically it's easier to let the cheaters hang themselves in mass a month or two after the leak has been revealed so that the cheaters can't get a refund and tank the reputation of the cheat makers.
@CRSB00 Some aimbots need the spin bot to allow it to shoot behind you. As well it's just a way to make it harder to spectate. With how strong aimbots are, the first reason isn't as prominent but still.

Half yearly pass, accounts with weapons and cosmetics, with honor levels etc. . The longer hack pass you purchase, the better account you get. Us brothers from the tf2 community understand the pain, and stand with you. Recently fps games having problems with cheaters feels like just another wednesday. It's a fucking epidemic and feels like no one is doing shit about it.
Its the cheater pandemic. Bot-24 i guess, instead of Covid-19.
Theres not much they can do, anti-cheats are always left playing catch up with the cheat makers, only long term solution would be making it mandatory to connect your passport to your account like in some countries but that's probably never happening.
they took over apex and now they're trying to get the others
@@Gigopz I disagree, they could do a lot. It would just be expensive. :)
Spin botting not being detected instantly has always blown my mind. Are there times when people crank their dpi and spin around for the lols? Yes but they aren’t one clipping people at the same time.
as someone who used to have an insanely high DPI and would spin constantly, I can confirm I did not one clip anyone

Maybe it's more like, somebody needs to get hired?
Blizzard has stopped ALL bans to bolster player count numbers. They know OW is dead on arrival of Marvel Rivals

Meanwhile, I’m yet to receive a notification for reporting a trio controlled by one person who just goes out of spawn and afk
Blizzard haven't done anything manually for years. Are you going to pay a half dozen people 100,000 a year to sit in a California office and watch video game replays? Neither are they. Their bonuses are tied to profits. Until people uninstall the game and stop playing, they aren't gonna do shit.

ive also noticed that theres more and more people who will refuse to play the game if you play a character they dont like, the other day i had a support duo that got mad at me and my group for messing around in quickplay as doom, widow, and sombra (me), and they talked trash in chat saying "youre not getting heals until everyone gets serious" when the game hadnt even started yet, we were literally sitting in spawn waiting to go to point and they completely ruined the game, we physically could not do anything no matter how the three of us swapped or changed our attack patterns
I had multiple games where my supports outright refused to heal me for playing Bastion (I had gold guns for him since I mained him in OW1).
Honestly was a big factor in me not playing OW2 anymore.
they won’t play with talon 😭
it also feels like sometimes you get punished for not countering or going the right hero. i play with my gf really casually rn in qp and its so miserable. i really try and play for fun but to even get any value or do anything i have to try so hard to kill stuff and stay alive. support is so stressful in qp making us not want to ever play it. and you still get countered constantly as tank. dps you have to counter the tank so they arent a raid boss.

i really wasnt a 6v6er but i genuinely think 5v5 irreversible broke the game
Truly a game of all time
Also on another note, we weren't aware that the Pharah in this clip was actually hard cheating as well. He was locked onto Vulture the entire time and calling him deplorable things. What an actual loser
@@Levitatinas if blizzard is going to do something
sounds like you should get some cheats then
There's been a steady increase in the kind of shameless cheating you can spot on a killcam since Blizzard announced their plans for the comp rework during S9.
If everyone is reporting, no one is reporting.
I can't see that happening, though, as those things that incentivize cheating are also what drives the monetization model for these games.
lol you actually think blizzard gives a fuck about cheating
"It's like watching a roomba" is the best description for these cheaters I've ever heard 😂

I love how they are spinning so fast that their character is phasing in and out it’s like watching them do double team from Pokemon 😂
I was wondering why anyone in their right mind would spinbot and it was hard to find answers but basically:
4/10 matches?... how many are doing the same but in a more stealth manner..? things that one cant see inmediatly while trying to play the game.... things are getting bad and i would bet its because of how harsh are qp penalties... people used to leave matches in qp because... they wanted to... but now that they get MORE punishment from leaving qp than comp, there is no reason why not to play comp.
i love how the spin botting tracer is doing the charlie brown dance

They take too long.

I was wondering if it is just me, but apparently, it is a whole ass coackroach infestation
Bro I couldn't even look lol. Made my eyes hurt right away.
Ive had literally 10 games in a row with hackers. Watching your vids taught me how to catch a cheater.
every single competitive multiplayer game is hopelessly infested with cheaters
''beyblade situation''got me lol

Honestly it's so bad because I have to play my heart out in these lower elos and still struggle.
People like you face consequences after simply telling someone, that they are wrong, yet I have so many people ripping each other apart in chat, nearly every game. They obviously didn't face any consequences yet, if they dare to say things straight out of hell. When I first got a rank, I was Gold 2. Now I am in Silver 1, struggling to get back to gold, because just like you said, every other game is full of leavers, cheaters, afk people and so on. I really hope you will find better teammates. I personally quit the game and got back to Divinity original sin 2 lol
what are you saying no to?
This is why im mainly playing single player games now. Theres cheaters left and right now on most popular shooters its getting out of hand 🤦♂️
Worst part is their team actually continuing to play the game.
If you have a cheater on your team in comp, you are scum if you keep trying to win.
Zero integrity.
I feel like people who try to win with a cheater on their team deserve permanent bans too, like hardware bans. Go ruin someone else’s game
don't care lol
@@senkoukura It all depends. Quick play I actually do not care.
But if it were competitive then that is different.
That cass is spinning so fast his cape has NO idea what to do
I don't get it. I maybe got one cheater a month since overwatch 2 released, until about a few weeks ago. But for some reason none of them get banned, I always report but I haven't gotten the message that someone got banned ever.
the devs get kickbacks from the cheat makers
That cass got access to weapon inspect
Yesterday, my friend and I had cheaters on Quick Play in 3 games in a row. This is how online games die.

Watching the Tracer spinbotting made me think of a pup named scooby doo where the gang would start dancing.
Bro I play console and there's been an insane amount of ximmers too
esp in masters😭
Pain
Sometimes i just want to leave a match and not deal with it anymore as i have had enough,no one works together and combining that with a ximmer...
what am i supposed to do :(
At least you have hope seeing as blizzard addressed it and said that this upcoming season should sort out most of your problems. They haven't said shit or done anything about pc cheaters
@@livvikittynot so much tbh, they’re mostly in gm (maybehigh m1)
i never understood whats the point of ximming but anyway...
they're a big problem added to cheaters leavers, dr-rankers, throwers... I play and lose match, after match, after match, remaining stuck in a rank or degrading....
and yet gamers on the enemy squad have the audacity to call me a smurf or sum bc im just good for the rank i'm in... don't know what to do tbh
Console Overwatch: first time?
And then you always get the "I'm on console???" Excuse
K
Is their more hackers in console?
@@saucy_dconsole is full of people using xim.
Plus xim is much more accessible and harder to detect
@Saucy_shadow the entire gm/top 500 leader board for the most part. Not including lower ranks where it also happens
@@saucy_dlet’s say i play 10 comp games in one night. 8/10 of them have people on mouse and keyboard.
I was suspended for 14 days for toxic behavior saying twitch streamers are trash yet this guy is toxic way more than me.
3:16 I’m pretty sure vulture has a video where we see his pov of killing the spinbotting tracer xD

Thanks for the heads up about the Epileptic/ Motion Sensitivity thing. That was really cool of you and I really do appreciate that. I will come back and watch this video after I am feeling better. You are a real one for that, honestly. Thank you. :)
That might be why I am not having fun. Makes plenty of sense.
I'll never forgive Blizzard for running one of the best games ever into the ground...
It’s so funny there’s all these cheaters I just got banned for hacking and I’ve never hacked in any game in my life
''where's the fun in playing fair''
''hack the planet''
Overwatch is slowly ending. It is just entering Irma’s last phases
Tf2 community: welp-
The McCree spinning is so bad that at 14:20 I thought he was the tire.
The tone of this video is so serious and I love how serious you take this. Cheaters ruin online gaming and it's so frustrating from OW, to TF2 to Apex like...brother cheat in you solo games pls.
TF2: First time?
And when I call out hackers in game I just get ignored
Getting ignored wouldn't be so bad, I get gaslighted and told I'm bad lol.
@@carston855 It used to happened a little bit to me as well.
Don’t worry cheating is okay in overwatch!!!! But if you swear once BAN!
good, nobody needs toxicity in their games 😊
@@AximVidyayou swear in your comments on this exact channel which are publicly visible
Oops?
@@fuwameanssoft TIL this here youtube comments section is an overwatch lobby apparently
@@AximVidya If I say “that was such a good fucking play, holy shit” to a teammate because they did something that impressed me, is that toxic, and should that be bannable? Because rn any sort of vulgar language is in fact bannable.
@@fuwameanssoft that's not toxic per se no, but it's a T-rated game, there are literal children playing this, so maybe keep your gutter language under wraps?
Thor explained this phenomenon, basically it's easier to let the cheaters hang themselves in mass a month or two after the leak has been revealed so that the cheaters can't get a refund and tank the reputation of the cheat makers.
7:32 I don't understand this, can someone explain how the cheater sees normally while spinning like a top?
There's a difference between server side and client side. The cheat is throwing inputs to the server without the client getting it.
@@ScythexArmy thank you, now I understand how it's done but still don't understand why would any one would bother to do this, not that I want to...
@CRSB00 Some aimbots need the spin bot to allow it to shoot behind you. As well it's just a way to make it harder to spectate. With how strong aimbots are, the first reason isn't as prominent but still.
ANTI-CHEAT IS NEEDED! Also auto-kick for someone that says KYS or any slurs. They've needed to address both of these things for YEARS!
The slurs world have been addressed any player saying anything toxic like gggggg ez fc u or any other insult gets verified after begin reported and they probably ban the account for a week or so or mute you from the chat for at least 5+ Hours
I don’t know kicking someone for using swears is pretty childish, game already censors most profanity in the text chat
Honestly, perma-banning anyone that uses the word diff would be much more preferable
@Welsh7133 Slurs are different from swears
@@Blackbirddc slurs *are* swears, they’re both profanity which is already censored…
I haven't played OW2 in about five months, played religiously for the first year, it doesn't look like much has changed. Are Blizzard doing like very nuanced changes, Hero tweaks and such? And have there been any big changes since I played?
If you purchase hacks monthly, they give you free accounts… They have reward levels, if you purchase hack’s weekly pass you get a normal free account, if you purchase monthly pass you free account ready for ranked. Half yearly pass, accounts with weapons and cosmetics, with honor levels etc. . The longer hack pass you purchase, the better account you get. If you get banned, contact support and they give more additional accounts for you to hack on.
whats funny is that since you spin so fast, it isnt hard to still get a headshot if they're head is spontatniously always in the same area if spinning
the thumbnail makes it seem like flats is the mafia boss of ow2 hackers
Ive noticed this for the longest time and no one had made a big deal of it! Its usually tracers, gengis, or Zaryas with their beam at 100 the whole time.
the duality of this premade is hilarious.
Purple is like: "playing pharah with a bit of aimbotting, a bit of aimlocking but i'm still *trying* to play the game. just... easy mode."
meanwhile mccree:"HAPPY FEET DUMBASS!" *breakdancing intensifies*
As a low-ranked player I've only experienced one obvious rage-hacker in a comp game and he actually got banned mid-game. The fact that this guy has gone for so long really is embarrassing.
the lore department was dealing with hackers while they waited for new heroes to come out, until everything changed and the fire nation attacked.
I like how the start of the cheating series was Flats going "the dev team are trying their best it's hard to catch every cheater"
and is now just "what is the team doing?!?"
The thing I find the saddest is that cheating so commonplace that we have a distinction between regular cheaters and rage hacking.
If everyone is cheating, no one is.
Off topic - I really appreciate the warnings for visually sensitive content and genuine care/accommodation for viewers who struggle/cant watch or deal with fast movements/bright lights. It’s the bare minimum but it’s still really wholesome to see imo
What I don't get is that, we've seen the auto-detect find and yeet cheaters. There's tons of clips of it out there. But then... how tf does it not flag this?
Mechinator : yeah that seems about right
