For anyone who's curious, the any% speedrun for this game is like 15 minutes and skips most of the game by getting into the last area immediately and clipping through a door.
idk why.... but this game is so comforting to me... i keep coming back to this stream, it's like my fourth time watching this playthrough i truly just cannot get enough. it's very dark but something about that is endearing in the way it's handled

I know that this is an old video, but as a software developer your specific replication steps for the crash are actually better than 90% of the bug reports I get lol
Spoilers for the bugsnax below!! The bugsnax are actually parasites that reproduce via being eaten by the grumpuses (and probably anything else on the island). They are also all one in the same creature as the doctor finds out after experiments with the bugsnax. The reason why the bugsnax all taste "SO darn good" is because they are addictive and once you eat one your brain is probably either taken over by the parasite or tricked into needing more and more until you finish the goal of becoming bugsnax so the creatures can reproduce and start the cycle anew. The corpses of the ancient civilization also seem to have been eaten by bugsnax as the ancient grumpuses needed to create hidden and closed off burial chambers so the dead wouldnt go missing. Theres a lot more dark stuff but i dont remember all of it currently as i havent played in a while, i'll update if i remember.
Heads up, the voice actor for Cromdo ISN'T John DiMaggio (Jake the Dog, Bender, King Zogg), it's Rick Zieef. He voiced the Mouss King in Barbie: The Nutcracker Sweet
Am I the only one who feels like subtitles are a standard for games? I mean it is way more likely a game has text and no va than that it has va and no subtitles. Not that it shouldn't be appreciated but this feels pretty standard stuff. I feel like minecraft impressed me way more on this front with the directional subtitles for the sound around you. But maybe I'm just a stupid idiot trying to ruin people appreciating something good in the world even if it isn't special. Idk

Small or skinny font, completely black no matter what the backing image is. The subtitles here are large, centered, and are backed with a color that doesnt strain the eye to read. The subtitles also don't span the length of the screen or cover more text than what currently is being said. Its the small things.

Streams will always be a minimum of 1 day after the stream finishes.
The reason it is this way is because of the Twitch Affiliate and Partner programmes.
They state that content on twitch has to be twitch-exclusive for until 24 hours after the stream ends
