Just went through orientation a few weeks ago. The instructor mentioned he heard a rumor that the changes might be spot market loads available on the load board. So Schneider negotiates with people on other load boards and then they make it available on our load board.

If all you're looking at is what the load pays your doomed to fail you got the calculate how many miles how much fuel and how much tolls and taking the consideration of time of pickup and delivery window for example 1200 load takes one day to deliver it's a home run but if it 4 day window only $300 a day there's a lot of factor in when choosing a load man the weight ,the mountains, MPG even before that you got to make sure you can get a reload, also ditch that phone and use a chromebook, or laptop,

Also learn the patterns on the load board, for example right now loads are being release morning 8 -12 and afternoon around 5-6, . Good luck

Schneider sounds a lot like JB Hunt. Over here at Landstar, it's also 4 inspections a year, and the load board is similar to what your doing now.

This is true!!! My company is doing the same thing and it makes no sense. Company drivers are a huge liability on a company in terms of insurance.
