- Sonny and Brenda have dinner at the Outback. Sonny gives Brenda a gift from Puerto Rico. Sonny explains going there so meet Lily's Father Rivera and that he spoke with Lily and makes Brenda promise not to tell Miguel in case Lily doesn't come there for Miguel. Miguel sings a song dedicated to Lily.

Sonny just told Brenda the ABSOLUTE truth about his whole trip. I mean he answered EVERY question she asked. But, then when she asks WHY he really did it, he lies, TF! 🤨 Come to think of it he REALLY haven't lied to her about anything, yet. Dam you 95!!!! LOVE those eyes he gives her @ 2:17. He's been open and honest except with his feelings which he figuring out. This was Sonny's way of proving his love to Brenda, without saying the words. Yes, he stutters quite often when talking to Brenda. When I first noticed it was in the 1993 car dealer scene. It is cute, and I have never noticed him do it with other actresses.

I don’t recall ever seeing Brenda wear that coral necklace from PR that Sonny brought her when he met Lilly to “bring her back for Miguel”. Brenda was superstitious; she probably thought that jewelry was cursed or tainted once she finally met Lily! Smart!! 🤔
