The bad writers of GH did understand that Brenda and Robin are best friends that would never cross the line of dating each others boy friends even if they are not together. A true friend would never cross that line. That is something Carly, Sam and Elizabeth would do. Robin and Brenda has respect for their friendship they are like sisters.
Jason and Brenda kissed before twice when he was Jason Q, but their relationship was more as siblings. Brenda is an honorary Quartermaine, is the only woman the all the Q’s wanted him to be with.
Neither wants to let people get close to them for different reasons, so they have that in common. Both pushing each other away because I think they recognise that they are, in part, alike.
