SHAY, I LOVE YOU!! a rare scene from the old days i've never seen before! i feel like crying watching this because this is the moment... that pivotal moment when S&B were perfect: well-acted, well-written and well-produced. characters were real and authentic and flawed. after this, maurice left and i wish to god vanessa left with him. this is also when writers were changing back and forth and the mob was becoming far more central than even the Q's. the beginning of the end (sigh) :(
Brenda showed Sonny the TRUE meaning of love.. and to get to that point in a relationship is challenging. Carly fans dislike Brenda but if it wasn’t for her they would never have had the life they have now. Just a shame they ruined Sonny’s character after Brenda. Sad to watch
In the end Sonny and Brenda were finally at a point where they understood each other and there lives. Brenda could have handled the life! He never wanted to give up the life with any other woman! I’m such a Brenda and would LOVE for her to come back, but the writers will tear her character up. Sonny settled because there is no other woman on the show they want him paired with. That’s why I can’t stand the show today...again so sad!

What would have been gangster is if they left together and both "died" together, out like a blaze of glory, only to return later on even if separate for a few years. What a missed opportunity.

Sonny said he wanted to get out of the business and almost did.... I hate when in RECENT history, Sonny let Brenda go because he wanted to chose power over her...That is one of the dumbest stories GH came up with.
He didn't mean he literally couldn't do the job of a mob boss without her, of course he could. He meant he couldn't be in that life, or any other, without her in it...who knew she'd eventually leave him once she was fed up.
Sonny was in the mob before Brenda, but he became a boss in 95, but his power elevated after he married Lily. I am sure he could easily be a mobster without Brenda, but his life be empty without her. He thought he have Lily and the power, but he wasn't happy.
General Hospital forgot what they stand for first of all its call General Hospital. The mob story is old and all it has left Sonny alone and miserable. Maurice needs to leave the soap with Vanessa. I hope GH will wise up and put Sonny and Brenda back together. It's the bipolar causing him to need the mob

I can't even watch the whole video because I find it so heartbreaking. I was so angry at the writers for once again ruining my favorite couple!!
